I also would like to borrow someone's kins until the achievement grants. This event's drop rate is horribly dismal. I haven't seen a single one so far.

I can't think of a work-around that would be safe or proper. Just remember if someone offers to get it for you (and needs your username & password), flip them the finger cos it ain't worth it. Maybe mention it in ATS but the points are useless anyway so I wouldn't really worry about not getting it, after all you won't have all the achievements (unless you joined in '03), so whats one less.

On my android phone it doesn't even give you the front page/landing screen. You click the game icon, play a game and when you login on the computer the achievement is available to be collected, so there isn't an actual link. It may appear differently on other devices.

I've already gotten my 8 kin, but I'm still waiting for the achievement (Miasmal Researcher) button to become active. I've already got a list of people who want to borrow the kin (from a guild), after they've been cleared I'll be able to help on here.

Just got my eighth egg. If you want to borrow them for the achievement, shoot me a PM. We'll do a quick swap.

Fyi: After you get the eggs, you need to open and fully load LK . Otherwise the event won't register them as in your inventory and won't let you claim the achievements. When you claim the achievements, the achievements should grant immediately.

I got my 8th earlier and continued playing LK but I'm still waiting on getting the Miasmal Researcher achievement. Guess its going to be one of those days. Hope you are enjoying the event.

Found out why it was taking me so long to get the Miasmal Researcher achievement. The achievement states you need to get 8 Miasmal Lake Kin, at the time I had 1 Golbie & 7 Miasmal Croaks. It would appear that the Golbie (and probably Sparks) doesn't count, so when I got my 8th Miasmal Croak the achievement became available. Now I can help others trying to get these achievements, I'm in Europe so there may be delays.
