Current Issues

Server connection Issues.
This is a new game and everyone is trying to go on it. This is causing the servers to die ><. You should also try connecting to a different server, likely best to try the one with the LEAST amount of people

Score Mix up.
Some time, the score on the right and the score that displays on the top are not the same. This may be why you dont earn an item if you are just over 1M points.

"GAIA Pinball Machine" not granting.
It appears that you can not get the "GAIA Pinball machine at 15M points at the moment.

Perhaps you have notice a certain game called Pinball on the games page. Yes, this is an actual Gaia game. We are just doing a "Public Beta" test right now to make sure everything works smoothly before we tell everyone on the site. We have few kinks to work before we go completely live. Why wont it work?

Some things to check first are:

• Make sure to clear your cache and cookies. This often can solve many issues especially if you are one of the few who are having troubles. For information on how to check this out look here
  
• Try connecting to a different server, likely best to try the one with the LEAST amount of people
  
• Try closing the browser and perhaps even restarting the Computer because it may have been a one time incident. They do happen.
  
• Sometimes there are glitches that only affect a single browser. Some of the more commonly used browsers for here are Internet Explorer and Firefox.
  
• Check to see if you have the most recent version of Flash. To see what version you have check here.
  
• If your screen is to small I suggest clearing your changing your screen resolution. For information on how to do this click here but if that dose not work try pressing F11 in the game

Basic Game Play

To start off, here is a copy of what GAIA pinball will show you each time you load it.

Next off, we have basic game play, here are some of the buttons you will need for game play. If you do not have one or more, you should get a new keyboard.

The down arrow key is used to "pull the plunger". The longer you hold it down, the more momentum your ball will have coming out.

The Z and / are used to activate the paddles. Depending were the pinball hits the paddle will determine the speed and direction of the ball.

The left and right arrow keys will let you select the power up you wish to use.


The up arrow key will activate the power up selected. You must have the power up to use it.


The P key will pause the game. Note: not all things will stop, but your ball will


The space bar will let you use tilt. This will be explained later on.

Buttons 1 through 7 will also activate power ups when pressed. More information about power ups can be found latter on in the guide.

Advanced Strategies.

Triggers:

The trigger targets can be found all over the game and activate different "Pinball Mini Quests". To activate them hit all the targets in the word. The mini quests will be explained latter on.

Gift Boxes:
Hit these boxes to earn you a simple 25 points.

Multiplies:

The multipliers can be one of the most important things in the game. Hitting all three grunnies will increase your multipliers. When you lose your ball, your points from that round will be multiplied by your current multiplier. The multiplier is reset after each round.

Shopping:

Shoping is an interesting aspect of pinball. Certain things you do will will earn you "Pinball Gold". Entering the shop will give you a power up based on how much Pinball gold you have. You can see how much you have by looking at the sign just outside the shop. Here is a lost of what you can exchange:

Fishing:
Fishing is a interesting thing. You must hit all 4 fish and then enter old man Logan's house. If you enter it before you get them all, you get nothing. When all 4 fish have been hit, they will respawn and the "rare fish" can be seen when you are ready to shoot the ball into old man Logan's house. As you get better fish, the points you earn will be larger each time you upgrade. The fish are not restarted each time you lose a ball.



Mini Pinball Quests:

"VOTE" Target Quest:
Process:

• Hit all "VOTE" buttons in the arena.
  
• Points increase in the "arena".
  
• Repeat to increase effect.
  
• You know when maxed when bumper is red.

"TRADE" Target Quest
Process:

• Hit all "TRADE" buttons. This will open the Bank.
  
• Drop the ball into the bank.
  
• Hit all "TRADE" buttons. This will open the Marketplace
  
• Drop the ball into the market.
  
• Hit all "TRADE" buttons. This will open the Guild ramp
  
• Hitting the guild ramp after this should activate the multi ball bonus

"SLOTS" Target Quest
Process:

• Start by hitting all the "SLOTS" buttons.
  
• Shot your ball into the casino.
  
• You will play a short games of "Slots" and will be rewarded points based on what you get.

"GUILD" Target Quest
Process:

• Start by hitting this target
  
• Next, hit the ball up the guild ramp for extra points.

"Gambinos Pride" Quest
Process:

• Start by hitting the 3 "Vials"
  
• Shoot the ball into his house to break it down (MUHAHAHAHA)
  
• To try to rebuild his mansion, start by knocking down the 3 barrels.
  
• Shoot your ball into the wreckage to rebuild.
  
• Each time you rebuild, you unlock a letter of the word "gaia". Get all letters to unlock the Von Helson's Mansion Bonus Quest. (see below for more info)

Bonus Stage:

How to open: See the ""Gambinos Pride" Quest"
What to do: Once inside the manor, try to hit all of the letter targets. You have 2 left and 2 right flippers. Failing to keep the ball out of the holes on the bottom will send you back to Barton without a loss of a ball.
Prize: "Balance has been restored" will appear on your screen. What else is not known.

Description: The ultimate pinball upgrade, an extra ball. The rare stuffed armadillo's natural predator is the stuffed rattlesnake.



Name: Fool's Gold
Description: Adds to your multiplier. Great for Gold Farmers.



Name: Bag of Marbles
Description: Instant Multiball! Triple your pleasure, triple your fun!



Name: Fishing Net
Description: Upgrades your fish targets instantly! Not for catching bugs.



Name: Sticky Paddle
Description: Keeps your pinball stuck to the paddles. How'd it get sticky?



Name: Insurance Policy
Description: Turn on the side drain kickbacks with an insurance policy. I saved money by switching, and you can too.



Name: Arm Floaties
Description: Save your pinball at the last second with these Floaties. Very stylish.

Description: A target top for players with skills.



Name: Armadillo Pinball
How to obtain: 2,000,000 (???)
Description: The armadillo. One of the few animals that can turn into a ball.

Description: You're so hard headed.



Name: Gaia Pinball machine
How to obtain: 15,000,000 points
