I figure it was multiple things.
1. The AtA was out of hand.
2. People talking about the CEO and COO and attacking them personally was getting ridiculous.
3. They needed to address why they are ignoring our concerns--and, well, didn't. But atleast they admitted that they were ignoring out concerns.
Yeah, and what did they do to "fix" that error. Why, by discontinuing the ATA, of course. If you ask my opinion, discontinuing ATA due to lack of space of bandwidth is a complete lame excuse and BS to me. After all, how many new threads and posts being made per day? If it's because of lack of space, this website would have encountered so many crashes and sushi errors every day.
I doubt about they finding a "better replacement" for the ATA. Because in my opinion, ATA is the only and BEST way to communicate to the people to address the issues. That way, people can get their answers fast and easy.
If they are thinking of a substitute, I think they should do the same way as how DJ Helsing did with his monthly update of Gaia. Read the questions being sent through their email, and address the questions on video. About how often they should do this? Hopefully either once or twice per week since ATA usually do so once a week. However, I doubt they will use that idea...
