gaia_spoons Do you ever search the user whose just bought one of your items on the MP?
gaia_spoons Are you happy to see your item equipped on their avi?

I was selling some items on the MP, and usually I do search the user to send them a thank you message on their profile (or see if they don't like such messages, or if they've already been spammed by enough messages). Sometimes I see my item being used on their avi and I get really excited that that person is getting good use out of the item. Sometimes I don't, and that's OK too. The other day I saw a user reselling my item for quadruple what it cost in the shops, and I got a bit peeved off that they were just using the item in an attempt to get rich quick on the MP. sweatdrop Of course I didn't say anything about it to the user, the item was sold to someone else to do with what they please. But I also would have liked it to have gone to someone who was going to get as much joy as I did out of it.

Feral Hellhound

Honestly once any of my items sell it's theirs to do with as they please, I could really care less.

I sell stuff to get gold for new stuff. Rinse and repeat.

Big Noob

Kind of stalkerish. If I sold an item, I expect I am no longer the owner of that item and have nothing else to do with it.

Ace Bachelor

As a vendor in a dog-eat-dog world here on gaia's marketplace, I see people do this all the time selling items for more.
And good for them, it's tough out there to make a good amount of gold sometimes.
But if a person uses the item I sell them, good for them.
If they make some profit, that's cool too.
I get it, we all gotta survive.

I haven't really thought to track the items I sell, but most of the stuff I buy I tend to keep for cheap (unless it's a gift or something). I hope they're happy to know that I wear the HECK out of the items I buy.

Mejaru's Significant Otter

Tactical Snack

If I sell an item on the market place I have no intention of keeping track of it. You pay the price I ask for. it's yours. do whatever you want.

However, if I work out a trade or a deal for a lower price, I do care. I want to make sure that item goes to someone that wants it, and will use it. If they eventually sell it off for the same reason I did, whatever, but it'd be nice if I'm giving a good deal to know that deal meant something to someone.

Otherwise I don't care.

not one bit.

Bloodthirsty Unicorn

No, I never look into who is purchasing my items, frankly they can do whatever they want with them and I wouldn't mind. I sometimes sell things pretty low and pretty much expect resellers to grab them.

I can safely say I have only done that once...and only when I mispriced an item. This was way back when 100K was a lot and I sold something for 10K instead. I did check to see who bought it and was pleased to see the user wearing the item I sold. (Not like I would have contacted them to return the misprice though. It was my mistake, not theirs)

I don't actively track, but from time to time I do see relistings. I'd rather my items go to someone who will actually use them as something other than a way to make some quick gold, but what can you do? *shrugs*

Rainbow Succubus

I generally don't. But it's always nice when I sell something cheap and someone is actually questing it and I find out!

Grumpy Witch

I do sometimes, if I sold an Item worth 300 Bil +
It's always a suspicious when a Newbie Account or very poorly dressed Avi buys high priced Items. I'm probably too paranoid.

I Kick Humans's Princess

Peculiar Cat

                Yes, I do keep track.
As a paw, I pretty much sell paw only items.
Which usually means lots of listing are pretty scarce.
So it would irk me if I see my item sold for higher after they buy my only listing.
But eh, once I look, I forget about it later. xD
I don't care about it tbh, but depends on the item if its a collector thingy like rare dolls

Fluffy Trickster

I don't usually care.
I am one of those who buy and sell as my main way to scavange gold.
I see marketplace as war zones.

the exception will be when I gift as anon, I am just curious to people's reception to it.
like whether it arrive or whether they feel happy or no reaction.

Indomitable Bro

i do it with 'big ticket' items that i remember getting a lot of use out of, just for curiosity’s sake.
i don't mind if someone bought it just to resell, but it does make me smile a lil to see it was on their wishlist or that they've equipped it.
