Sure, you didn’t say it directly, but every time someone doesn’t like something in the GCD and voice their opinion about it, more ppl chime in with “drama” and “hate” more times than I can count. It ends up being disheartening to anyone ever voicing something “negative.” Even a constantly positive mood can be damaging to one’s mental health. It’s good and heathy to acknowledge and voice negative/bad/non-positive feelings
And yes, it is an “to each their own kind of thing,” except we as a community should not try and stifle it if we don’t necessarily agree.

I wish forum search was working, because I once wrote a very heartfelt reply on the subject once in the Project Custom thread, back when it was called the Project Winners thread. People insist that you shouldn't any anything mean about the "winners", and that's fine -- but why should that mean pretending there aren't "losers"? Telling people to get over their problems and be polite, because they don't want to have to listen to your comments -- isn't that pretty rude, too?

It may be with the best of intentions that people have adopted this "be happy for all" attitude towards Project Custom, but with all the queues and competition, it's so easy for users to feel tired, exhausted, and downright cheated. Sometimes we just want those painful feelings to be validated, and not have to pretend to be happy when we're not.

Yes, I agree! Validation is very important, no matter what. When someone feels bad about something, but all anyone can say is anything positive or that they shouldn't think that way, it can just make the person feel worse. Then, next time, they may not say anything and keep it to themselves (which can really hurt and isolate a person).

Also, when you see people having ticket after ticket, the Project Custom forum/discussion/etc can feel very much like a competition (and I'd like to add, back a little while ago there was a custom item with "This is a competition" right in the description...). It just creates a kind of "blah" mood, which no one wants.

Anyway, I think we're getting a little off topic, so I want to add that I want to thank the devs that made the freebies today! Theyre so cute.

On topic, I like that the new item is an LQI and not randomized thingy X,Y,Z.
But it's a shade of pink I don't use and there's not many poses I'd use, so I'll pass for now and wait to see if it gets recolored into something I can use.
Congrats to the users on their bundle, I'll have to play with it more to see how I can use it, but I love the shade of purple.
Totally digging the freebies, thanks to the artists for the little Piggy treats.

New Kin?! I love this little guy, I kinda want one recolored to have Offblack/Black and white spots and a pink nose, but I'm biased.
