Why run a color scheme thread?
I feel like there's a lot of older unique items, schemes that don't get as much love nowadays, or even brand new schemes that deserve a spotlight in the community.
Why the GCD?
The GCD is host to a lot of daily item threads and the D is for discussion after all, so discussing the merits, potential recolor ideas, etcetera of a color scheme seems to fit the bill.
Why no weekly threads?
Community vote won by a large enough margin.
Why keep the no vote?

I am looking to retire from this thread. I know it's sudden but I haven't felt like I've been consistent with it, and I have not been looking forward to the next update as I did in the first few months.

I will be looking for a few people to either PM or publicly post here if they would like to pick it up. I don't mind passing the torch, I think it would be best that this continue. They are free to use this thread's layout or a new one, and can reorganize a copy of the archives to match.

I am sorry, but I would rather someone do this out of joy than obligation.

aaa this is so cute! I love this idea <3

I'm not one to change much in terms of colors (I'm boring like that, I'd dip anything and everything in offblack if given the chance) but I love the Librarian color scheme C: it just works so well and gives that regal vibe, I'd love to see lots of it around!

As for things I'd like to see... I've been playing (in my head) with the idea of offblack + coral for clothing and (of course) golden caramel for the hair, I'd need to get a parcel ticket haha

edit: I forgot to say, I consider Nanz to be a goddess of evil :C her recolors always leave me hungry for those items, it's exactly what happened with Billy before he was made an artist haha, get a work in Gaia already!

And oooh~ Even if I'd like the scheme to exist first for thread showcasing, you've got me interested. ...Partly because 80+% of the more recent LQIs are offblack so it'd to well with a lot of what I already have. Let me know if you get mocks?

What a fun idea for a thread!

I've liked the Librarian scheme ever since I got the Bibilothecary. It's so much more interesting than the usual red and black or red and white! Pretty much any elegant item would look amazing in that palette. It always makes me think of high class fantasy with a touch of steampunk for some reason.

I'd also love to see the colors used in Moon's Watcher (blue, black, and white) get a revival for purely selfish reasons. xD

There's a lot of color schemes that need love & the Librarian color scheme is one of them.
I'm so happy to see the support it's getting now.
I would love to see it implemented to some casual styles as well so there's more diversity.
