As for the caroling set...I think I'm a little disappointed it's recolors and edits instead of a new set, but with the migration chaos and the queue behind, I understand the choice. Though males will be hard-pressed to utilize them, with all the soft pink. The animal theme also makes them a little harder to use, despite the more neutral scheme. I'll settle for being happy we got caroling at all, and I wonder what colors we'll get for the Alchemy Recolors. Hopefully something sophisticated and darker, while still suitable for the season.

Very interesting color scheme choice. Not exactly my cup-of-tea, but I will collect them nonetheless! Maybe there will be Alchemy recolors whee

I agree with what others have said about this year's caroling set being very similar to the last one we got.

Comparison:

I'm bummed. Xmas is my favorite time on Gaia, and I always look forward to the caroling items. Really was hoping for more festive colors, and this one is just more cutesy. confused

Oh well, I guess the situation really is such that things will be sparse this year. emo

i'll admit...i am a little disappointed the items are almost the same as last year BUT

i know gaia had a hell of a year so i'll just appreciate how cute the polar bears are. c: the color isn't really my thing (i miss u peppymint) so i am hoping for an interesting recolor in alchemy.

and i love the 12 days items. i know they aren't as much as we usually get but i think the little bubbles are cute. c:

However, I love the new set so much more! The colours, bear theme (those puns!), everything. emotion_bigheart For me they're much nicer than last year's and I can see myself getting a lot more use out of them outside of Christmas.

Thanks for the list! These items are indeed cute, but seeing some of the other posts...just recolors of last year, really? 12 days of xmas of already a bust b/c its just mood bubbles, so these recolors are just disheartening.

I really appreciate that the artists choose a more neutral color palette so I can wear these clothes year-round without looking like I'm still clinging to Christmas is April.

That said, I'm not sure I'll actually wear any of these because I don't typically do the cute n- cozy look, but I like having the option lol.

YUUUUP, that's my problem, too. A big chunk of my invo has only been used for Runway avis, so whenever I try to sell/donate anything, I'm like, "WAIT, I used this for a Runway entry once! What if I'll need it again?!"
