They dumped more gold in the community than just that 133 trillion.
For example, they bought out atleast 2 Shooting Star Debut items on the day of it's release for 1 trillion +, so there's no telling what else they bought.

Proof here, they bought my 1st Shooting Star Debut for 1 trillion and I believe another user who had one listed around 1.5 trillion, forgot the user's name :

1 trill is insanity. That item is indeed very cute.. but worth 1 trillion on opening day AND within hours of being released? I don't think so.

An obvious ploy to manipulate the ABP (against their own rules! emotion_awesome ) to make the item more unreachable/desirable and increase sales.

This is the MAIN reason I shouldn't be banned. I'm calling Gaia out for manipulating the MP which is supposed to be something they would never, EVER do and they are doing.

Then again they weren't supposed to EVER sell MC items and they did.
They weren't supposed to re-release LQI items.. and they have.. and they just re-wrote the meaning behind the LQIs too.
They weren't supposed to put limited items in Flynn's plunder but they have. They loop holed around that one as well..

I feel like I'm dealing with an actual government now.

Do you understand how much 133+ trillion is? Who on Gaian period has 60 halos? Actually, according to the other thread it was 300 trillion. Anyone who legitimately had that much wouldn't have extremely overpaid on the MP.

I'm okay with numbers.
I don't know anything about who has how many halos.

But I'm also fairly sure people would be willing to pay a trillion or more for art done by a professional artist.

Or what if the user bought gold gens and won big? I understand that that is an absurd amount of gold for one person to have but I don't think there is any reason to suspect foul play.

last thread people wondered if there was a glitch in the new ggs, then zero came to confirm that it was nothing but a large transaction made by a user.
that user has been found to be some artist's mule & people are worried about a few things:
a) is this gold obtained through the last 3 goldsinks?
b) can artists just generate their own gold like that?
c) too much work in hq, so they bought the ticket to prevent someone from claiming it?
d) why throw all that gold back into the system...into the hands of one single user?

There's no gold gen that pays out that much. If there was, the MP would be way worse than it is now. And apparently it's 300 tril. Tickets go for like 3-4ish Halos. Why would someone pay 100x the amount if they had gotten it legitimately?

The fact that Zero IMMEDIATELY said it wasn't hacked gold when they're STILL dealing with the issue from last month is too much of a red flag. It takes at least a week for them to do all that looking into, and Zero has stated that he is very busy, so he couldn't possibly do all that work in even less time.

The user buying apparently several things overpriced in the marketplace for trillions, they literally went on a spending spree it seems with whatever gold they wanted to make.

And why would an artist, who at any time can create and make their own item BUY a ticket for ONE HUNDRED times it's value to make something they can just as easily do on their own time??????????????

And for anyone saying that they got that gold legitmately, I'll admit it's highly impossible. Astronomically impossible, but seriously, if ANYONE was that good of a vendor to obtain 140trillion, DO ANY OF YOU seriously believe they would drop all that hard earned gold on an item ONE HUNDRED TIMES ITS ACTUAL VALUE, not to mention items listed in the trillions that were brand new and set to drop A LOT. That's exactly zero smart business sense, especially when you consider the user in question is an artists and can make anything they want!

So the facts are
We have a staff on a mule account suddenly with over 133,000,000,000,000 gold, despite recently claiming they were unable to to a gold achievement.
That staff member has been seen buying up items on the MP, removing them from the public hands.
We have 2-3+ Goldsink's Gold, pumped Right back into the Gaian economy in one day. (What have we done all summer gonk )
Z. O. and L.S. were both quick to the draw on the original thread, yet no staff member yet has come forward to us for an explanation.

There is way too much shade under this tree.

I've been here since 2006, when I was sending in 20 dollar bills for items through the mail for the monthly collectibles.

So reading this.. has made me sick to my stomach. And whoever that Blue Alaris person is, I hope to god that is made known that she's doing this, and artists refuse to make art for her with that corrupt gold.

Makes me so irate that nothing will be done about this discovery either -- It will be swept under the rug.

If there were that many high profile art purchases, don't you think people would know? Why don't you link to their art shop if you legitimately think that's the case? They can't trade art for gold off site because that's offsite trading.

Well it didn't have to be all in one go. Regarding getting lucky with gold gens.

I don't know why people pay as much as they do for art and other things on this site.
I never cared enough about the tickets to keep up with em.

I don't mean to come off like I'm trying to attack the idea.
I just personally didn't see this as a good reason to call someone out for cheating or exploitation.
