In either case I feel the blackout Splendor loses details, again(though not as bad as some)

The blackout Spendor of Death actually doesn't look too shabby. I like the lighter details in it that bring out what existed in it before. The slightly translucency of the veil also helps out with that a lot.
I personally think it could still do with a little distinction between details and shades instead of causing it to look like a bunch of little grey polka dots, but this is a step in the right direction!

The Shadow Virus recolour also looks incredibly similar to the previous orange Shadow Virus, save for a few candy corn looking details here and there..
But it doesn't look very different apart from the first orange recolour. ; - ;
I think it would have held more variety if it had been entirely candy corn and made more bright in comparison to the first orange one.

Hmmm... not quite sure that I like the Dark Splendor of death, feels a bit washed out in terms of detail. I'll have to think about it some more.
