Welcome to Gaia! ::

Stykes grip stiffened over the hilt of his blade as he pulled it free of its scabbard, the unique ringing noise of metal filling the air as almost in a second nature he ran the blade along his arm, letting a small amount of blood trickle down the blade. Little did Stykes know in his distant ancestry a relative had devised a magic passed down through their line to protect his bloodline's mind and those sworn to them from intrusion of creatures that existed in the cracks between thought, the space visited when you slept. He had no idea how Leo's existence worked and saw simply a friend being intimidated by the barely recognizable form of Leo. As he lost himself in the fury of his blade he was filled with the resolve to cut. he committed himself to the idea of cutting, and with that resolve he leaped at the man he knew as Leo flying, past Saria, bringing the sword down over his head at him in a full swing with a blood curdling cry.

(( i gotta admit i was a little intimidated to RP with you Leo but it sounds like you're pretty open to things by that description ))

As entertaining as a 2 vs 1 would be with Leo, I'm retracting him from the RP my friend. I was under a great many of my own wrong assumptions, and find that Leo is far too over powered to be involved in a plot I should of inquired more about before acting as I did.

I appreciate everyone putting up with my over complicated posts, especially to Fray in this circumstance, since I should of paid more respect to her fun of the RP, and less to my own passion for violence IC.

I hope to introduce a whole different, better suited character here in the future. For now though, I over stepped my boundaries and hadn't thought that the main antagonist here was from here rather than a different thread altogether. >//<
(( aw dang, oh well i look forward to rping another time then Leo ))

I learned a long time ago that RP is for the fun of us writers, not the glory of what we can do IC.

While I tend to lose sight of that in the heat of moments where I think more in terms of what my RPC would do, rather than what's appropriate for the overall RP I try not to come off as an elitist telling everyone else how they should RP.
xp

My other character, Croix, was faaaar more intimidating to be honest. Leo's just a technical fighter, I got rid of his all mighty 'magic' abilities in favor of realistic combat with fantasy elements. ( Blood sword that can alter shape, eye's that can view his surroundings beyond his line of sight, two tails which actually add far more of an edge in a fight than most would admit lol )

I really can't apologize to Fray enough for being such a killjoy...

Edit: Not to mention all my over complicated philosophy elements describing tier's of infinite dimensional existences, subjective time, manipulation of dimensional realms ( Which I shouldn't of elaborated upon regardless since Leo would potentially destroy himself if he tried whether he knows it or not ), and got far too caught up in my own fictional world my RPC's have been created from. >w<

Beloved Sex Symbol

Ania turned her head when two familiar voices rang in the air she nodded to both bit chose to ignore the males statement. No she had not woke up on the wrong side of the glass...not yet anyways! Bright orbs shifted to the female "Nice to see you as well...have you been doing good?" Ah the generic speech oftwo people. AfAfter all with her vanishing act no wonder she couldn't keep friends in touch.

As Leo lunged towards Fray, Saria's eyes widened in an angry expression. If Fray was dead, she couldn't be used as bait as was her original plan. She heard Stykes unsheathe his sword behind her, but she held up her hand to him to gesture for him to stop.

"Choose your side wisely." Saria said softly, loud enough for Stykes to hear. Would he know what she meant by that? She didn't care. Her cold green eyes were fixated on Leo, and she could feel his darkness inside of her mix with her unstable emotions. They were brimming up like a volcano about to explode.

"Leo, Stop." She would command. She didn't raise her voice, but spoke with power and authority. She made a few steps into the bar, allowing her knees and elbows to loosen, ready to fight or defend depending on what the situation would call for.

"Fray is mine to take out. Leave, now."

And, there we have it. Saria had made her plans known to anyone who was within the vicinity to hear. The two unstable women would have their battle, and they would take care of it here and now.

Ania may not remember the violet haired woman from so many months ago, the one she served various mixed drinks to. But Kai remembered her, possessing a vast mind that held onto information like a computer. She gave the younger female another small smile after Stykes rushed inside, a mental probe of hers following closely afterwards. These were mortal affairs Kai's ethics would not allow her to take part in. This was a battle between two unstable women, and the odd angel wished them both the best of luck. She just hoped Stykes would be able to get out of the situation as easily as he went in, should he find the situation too sticky for him.

"I have been well. What of you, Ania? You have been gone for so long." Kai responded, head tilted toward the building as she kept track of everything.

Yuni seemed to realize that Stykes was inside the building now. She had burned the vines away from the ballroom door to open it, peeking out and exiting it in a fiery fashion. Her petite body engulfed in the inky flames, she zipped into Stykes' shadow to keep up with him. Yuni didnt know either of Fray's or Saria's plans involving each other, so she could possibly lash out at either. She would stick to helping Stykes, then, unless otherwise noticed and persuaded. Just subtle involvement, like black flares for intimidation or parries. Maybe risen metal spikes from the man's shadow. Yuni was versatile.

"I'm always gone but I do come back" she chuckled while watching the male dart inside. So much negativity radiated off the building it made the skin crawl. The glamour she had packed on over the years began to unravel to reveal the true Ania. Silvery blue orbs cast a glance to Kai before back to the manor. "How much have I missed?"

Pale skin began to glow ever so lightly as the glamour slipped away from her.

Kai blinked slowly as the glamour fell from the fae woman, looking over her actual form before giving an approving nod. So the fae still had mastery over glamours in this realm. Good to know. When asked the question, the too skinny bench sitter looked skywards and thought. She didn't really have a good timeline for this place, her own visits sprinkled around the time Yuni made this dysfunctional place her newest home.

So Kai shrugged. "Frayda is now a vampire without a heart, an old hybrid vampire plans for the Manor's destruction, and no one is able to work together without first tearing each other apart. Apparently." She gave a slightly dismissive wave to the matter with a gloved hand. "The friction lies mostly between Saria and Frayda... Would be interesting to see who breaks whom now..."

When Stykes came gallivanting towards Fray and Leo mid-fight, Fray first thought he was coming towards her and her instinct was to attack back. Once she realized that Stykes was actually attacking Leo in her defense, she took the opportunity to escape Leo's grasp and grab her katana that was conveniently sheathed underneath the bar for instances just as this. She'd left it there ever since Yuni and the angels had gifted it to her at the holiday party. The magical blade rang as she drew it, pointing the sharp tip in Leo's direction as the vampire put several yards between herself and the two.

The next few moments happened fast as Saria demanded Leo stand down, spouting something about Fray being 'hers to take out'. Frayda was in full predator mode, holding her ground and staring at the various residents with a deadly glare. She was ready to strike and kill if any of them dared to make another move against her. Her mind was racing, contemplating whether Leo's shared connection with Saria had anything to do with his sudden outburst of violence. This only furthered her desire to implement Mohan's plan. Saria needed to be taken down ASAP, but she was on high alert right now and would likely be a challenge to take out. With vines sprouting in every direction, Saria was preparing to attack Fray, but Fray knew she would likely wait for her to make the first move.

Wielding the sword in her left hand, Fray's right hand would slowly raise from her side in an upward motion. The music abruptly cut off and the lights in the bar would flicker for several seconds until they began to burst one by one, sparks and glass showering upon them as they did. The look upon Frayda's face was one that reflected much concentration, focusing her strength and building it up in preparation for a fight.

"I'm going to allow you five seconds to leave before I rip your heart out of your chest," She said, knowing that Saria wouldn't leave and hoping to instigate her to make the first move. She now held her blade in Saria's direction, although it was only for added protection. Fray's best weapon was not a sword, but herself, her strength and speed, and her fangs that could tear Saria's throat out. Poor Stykes--he really had walked in on the brink of war.

Green eyes would glance upward as the lights began to flicker and burst. Saria didn't bother to shield herself from the falling glass; her skin was tougher from her "upgrades" and thus the glass falling was not enough force to scratch. She kept her gaze locked on Fray as she prepped in return. The dark elf would tilt her head to the side with a crack, before her vines would lash out in full speed.

In an instant, two dozen or so vines would whip upwards at Fray's legs from the floorboards beneath her. They would attempt to wrap around her legs, immobilizing her from the thigh downward, or at the very least slow her down.

Jagged pieces of wood and bark would sprout from Saria's hands, splintering from her palms. With a swift movement she would swing her right arm outwards towards Fray, sending a shower of bullet-sized stakes towards the vampire. Her left arm would pull backwards towards her belt, grabbing four silver shurikens between her fingers, which she would whip towards the vampire immediately following her stake attack. She would choose to keep distance between herself and Fray, knowing that vampires had an advantage with close encounter fights.

The vines surrounding the bar would begin to bloom, and the petals of the unique flowers would grow jagged teeth, a sort of venus fly trap that would devour anything that Saria commanded them to. Although she had begun the first attack, she was still prepping the bar to be the most advantageous to her needs.

Drama thats the words for what was going on with in the heartless. Bullshit drama because people couldn't control themselves. "Wonderful, just wonderful. I'm gone for only a little while and everything turns to s**t." Shaking her head the chick moved closer to the edge of the porch. Arms crossing over her chest while silvery orbs watched the house. Ears taking in all the sound while nose danced about. Scents filled the air and it was making her head spin like a top.

This was shy she had pack on the glamour to make her more humanish. Duller sense of smell and less super human hearing. That and glowing skin kinda freaked people out that were not use too the super natural

If that was how Ania felt, Kai began to wonder how Yuni felt. The Nekojin stayed in this building for months, alone, when Saria left. She cared for the Heartless, kept everything clean, awaited for patrons that never came. Now Saria had returned, along with everyone else, and this happens. That poor girl... Kai would have to keep that note in mind, in case her Charge had a mental breakdown.

"I suppose it could be worse..." The gunslinger mused aloud from her bench, absently rubbing at the smooth marble skin of her chin. "They could have never returned."
Jack was laid out on the roof, grinning from ear to ear at the irruption of emotions inside. His shadow pulsed and flowed around him like long black tendrils as he tucked his hands behind his head. He was happy as a snowflake, one of the heartless perched on his chest wasn't even bothering his good mood. He finally opened his golden eyes, hearing the continuing murmur of talking below on the porch. The shadowy teen shooed the heartless off and stood up, walking down to the edge to peer down at the two women. He pondered the thought of a rogue snowball intervening their conversation but figured they weren't in the same content state as he was.
