I've been wondering about these for a while. There's too, and I'm afraid I recall very little of them both.
I don't know the name of the first one. It's about a little girl (or boy, but I think it's a girl
eek ) hiding behind the couch, and something happens to her parents (?). The figure of Jesus on their wall falls behind the couch and she sleeps beside it... or something... @_@ Anyway that should be enough for you to recognize if you know it. yes i know it ! in fact i love it! its so sad it called the little girl i can give you the whole lyrics here:Her parents never took the young girl to church...
Never spoke of His name...
Never read her his word...
Two non-believers walking lost in this world...
Took their baby with them, what a sad little girl...
Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs...
Never wanted to play or give kisses and hugs...
She'd watch the tv and sit there on the couch...
While her mom fell asleep and her daddy went out...
And the drinking and the fighting...
Just got worse every night...
Behind their couch she'd be hiding...
Oh what a sad little life...
And like it always does, the bad just got worse...
With every slap and every curse...
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night...
Used a gun on her mom and then took his life...
And some people from the city took the girl far away...
To a new mom and a new dad, kisses and hugs everyday...
Her first day of Sunday School...
Her teacher walked in...
And a small little girl starred at a picture of Him...
She said I know that man up there on that cross...
I don’t know His name but I know he got off...
Cause he was there in my old house...
And held me close to his side...
As I hid there behind our couch...
The night that my parents died.
Number two I recall a bit of the lyrics of, and I'm sure the name is "She Said Yes" but I don't know the artist. The chorus (or part of it) goes:
She said 'yes,' I said 'Wow.'
I said 'When?' and she said 'How about right now?'
*something something something*
*perhaps another line, I dunno*
Then I asked if she believed in fate
And she said 'Yes'!
and for this one its brad paisley who sings an d and here are the lyrics She moved into my old apartment
That's how we got this whole thing started
She called and said that I had mail waiting there for me
I told her that I'd come and get it
How could I know in just a minute
That I'd be standing face to face with my own destiny
Ohh and we sat there talkin' just like we were old friends
And ohh Then I asked her can I see you again
Chorus:
She said yes
And I said wow
And she said when
And I said how about right now
Love can't wait
Then I asked if she believed in fate
And she said yes
The days flew by just like a fast train
And nothing else has been on my brain
Except the thought of how she makes me
The man I wanna be
And she's the one I want for a million reasons
Loving her it's just like breathing
It's easy and it obvious
She was made for me
Ohh then it happend one night looking in her eyes
Ohh and I popped the question
Much to my suprise
Chorus
So we called the preacher, family, and friends
And nothing's been the same since
Chorus
She said yes
pm me if you go this kk peace
I really appreciate it and thanks in advance!
