Welcome to the Sisterhood of Gaia!!
We are a battle-clan run by our sisters, and for our sisters.

Our goal is to allow the women of Gaia to have a place where they feel they can truly belong.

We will band together to fight side-by-side in the Gaia zOMG MMORPG.

The requirement to join this clan is simply to have a female avi, and the willingness to share and contribute to the clan. More specific rules to joining are listed below in the Crew Memberlist section.

4. Any member of the Sisterhood of Gaia MUST have a female avatar. If someone in the clan notices that a member is not a female, said member will be dealt with accordingly.
   
   
5. BUMP-ing IS allowed.
   
   
6. Racism, rudeness, and all-around unpleasantries will NOT be tolerated!
   
   
7. Should your conduct be unbecoming, you will receive one warning. The next time, a demotion in rank. The third time - probation until your attitude changes.
   
   
8. If you act in such a way that the Elders deem is completely unacceptable and warrants severe punishment, you WILL be immediately banned from the clan and guild. However, this will be such an extreme case, that most likely Gaia itself shall deem you expendable. eek
   
   
9. If you are a member of another clan, that will not prevent your membership into the Sisterhood of Gaia. However, it is required that any other clan(s) you may be involved in form an alliance with the Sons of Gaia, before we can accept your membership into our clan.
   
   
10. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you become friends with your fellow sisters, once you become part of the clan. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Sister to choose her own path.
    
    
11. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you subscribe to this thread and to buddylist the Clan Mule, as rules may change - the Matriarchs will post here to let everyone know of any changes to rules. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Sister to choose her own path.
    
    
12. Although it's not necessarily a RULE, it is REQUESTED that you become friends with the Sons of Gaia, our Brothers, once you become part of the clan. However, this is not a rule and is left to the Sister to choose her own path.

How to Join:
Merely post in here, and send a PM to our head recruiter, .Sakura no Takai.. Let the clan know why you want to join as well as what you feel you can bring to the clan, and how you heard about it.

Once you have been accepted into the clan, there will be a grace/probationary period of 3 days. You will have access to the guild ... However, your activity will determine if you will stay a member.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO JOIN IF YOU DO NOT THINK YOU WILL BE ACTIVE.


Rules of the Ranks:

• ALL RANKS are subject to change.
  
• Ranks and Promotions are determined by the Recruiting Department and/or the Clan Matriarchs, up to the level of Lady.
  
• Promotion to the Council of Elders require first a nomination by an existing Elder, then a majority vote by all Elders.
  
• You may request a Title or a change of Title, and its validity to your character and conduct will determine if it is accepted.
  

What is the difference between Clan Rank and Battle Rank?

• The Clan Ranks listed below are like your class within Clan Society.
• The Battle Ranks listed at the bottom dictates your level of authority within the Clan Army.
  

How do you develop your Clan Ranking?

• Demonstrate your leading ability (this could be from arranging a clan battle to recruiting members)
  
  
• Demonstrate your level of maturity
  
  
• Demonstrate your ability to act as a leader within the clan to those who may need assistance or falter
  
  
• Demonstrate your ability to follow the rules

EVERYONE in the Sisterhood is, needless to say, a Sister.


How do you develop your Battle Rank?

• The top two Battle Ranks, General and Commander, are reserved for Elders and Squad Commanders respectively.
  
  
• Elders command our clan's overall war strategies, and Squad Commanders dictate the deployment of their own troops. Therefore, these ranks are reserved for them in order to give them the authority required for their job.
  
  
• If a General is a member of a Squadron led by a Commander, she shall obey the orders of her Squad Commander when on the battlefield, for it is the Squad Commander's job to deploy formations into the battlefield. The General's position is to deliberate on clan and guild issues, alliances, and strategies, which is normally done in the War Room or at Sisterhood of Gaia HQ.
  
  
• The ranks for Non-Commanding Officers are determined solely on "Total Energy", which is your level of Experience within the actual MMO game.

Please note... As we are here to take over from where the Daughters of Gaia had left off, we are allowing all sisters from the Daughters of Gaia, both those who are already official members, as well as those who had been waiting to join, to immediately migrate to the Sisterhood of Gaia with no probationary period.

For those of you who don't know, since the 22nd of June (2 months exactly from today), all new membership to the Daughters of Gaia clan had been permanently revoked. The Sisterhood of Gaia is now here to allow all of you to join, and to reward you for all the hard work which the sisters have been putting forth to keep the Daughters of Gaia active, open, and running.

Having been watching the activity of all the new sisters who had been with us, even though most were unable to obtain an official membership and rank, we will be assessing you at a higher initial rank upon receiving your application.

Thank you, sisters, for all the hard work you have been giving to the Sisterhood, both to the Daughters of Gaia, and now to the new Sisterhood of Gaia clan! We humbly appreciate all that you have done for us.
