anywho, a roleplaying thread....cool beans, how's it work? I read the rules but not sure how it works.

Oh, I haven't been lurking in the CB, I'm sorry to hear that, it must have been unpleasant. I've been mostly just posting and concentrated in here. XD
Certainly we can offer you sanctuary from those nasty bits.


Well for rping, you make up a character, and make stories with it in lands that other people created, like ours is named Valaura and it has a set of rules like most other places do, the first page has a well general intro for you to get your character into the world and our castle, and join one of the 7 sins. ( Usually the one you think fits your character the most)

wow....nice. SO...what would you suggest? cause I'm not sure I'm clear on how to start.

I suggest first making a character, make up a creature, a person, what have you.
I suggest something that has powers preferably tho at the start entering here they'd be rendered powerless until they joined the ranks of a sin. o uo
Or someone that has the ability to unlocked them.
But yeah you can well come up with a name, race, age, what they look like, background prior to when they got to this world and all sorts of things like that first. =D

As the empty human passed the wall of blasphemous architecture that held the name Damned Art, something passed him in turn. The hold that the bead had over his person was faltering, the ice insufficient to the task it had been given. Thus, the passing sparked an ember of interest, enough for him to turn his head and watch as the blur flickered out of sight. It couldn't hold out against chaos forever, and frankly its' master couldn't care enough to maintain the spell. On the other hand, though the wave sought to reverse the sniper entirely, it was unable to alter his body. By extension, it couldn't fully alter his brain, marked by its' own disorders as it was. As he walked, he found more and more cracks. The emotions were there, but dim at best. It was when he caught sight of Jack that something resembling his old priorities broke, if not breached, the surface.

Duty. He had debts to pay, and a job to do. And just because he was emotionally vacant was no excuse to make others worry, especially when they'd done so much for him. So, dredging his memory, he remembered something that he'd seen others try. Just because he coouldn't feel much didn't mean that he didn't remember what it was like. It took a few false starts, but soon he had a functional (if slightly wrong) smile. It would take work, of course, but what better mask than humor? He could joke, he could sing, he could laugh. They would be far superior to crying, wouldn't they. Immortals probably didn't believe that humans were built to handle emptiness, but years and years of comedic development said otherwise. Besides, there was a decent target to snark at just now: Scion. He could almost feel antipathy for that one. As he approached, Caius tried to come off as cheerful, but only managed a spot somewhere between easygoing and content. It would do for now.

Well Tophat, I thought that was rather clear to see. Our mistake for not being so up front about it. You really should learn by now that not everything here is as it seems. Just saying, some memories and those that become them, should stay in the recesses of the mind. Any way now that you are back from the seemingly dead, how have you been? Other than causing unease and trouble in some remote pools of Gaia and it's underworld that is.
