Follow Gaia’s TOS. If you follow this, we shouldn’t have any problems.
Be respectful to everyone in the thread.
Do not steal the art. This should be a no-brainer. If you steal, we shall kill you.
Please read the entire front page before asking any questions. Chances are, you’ll find your answer somewhere.
Do not ask for a free pet. You will not get it and I will be instantaneously annoyed. Pet trades and such are another matter entirely. Feel free to pose questions about these.
Do not PM Satin Doilee or Chiensan under any circumstance. If you have a question that for whatever reason cannot be posted on the thread, send your PM to the mule, Yavenata.
Please note that this is a drama-free environment. Let’s keep it that way.

Congratulations, you’ve received your own piece of fruit! It acts like any normal food item, moving little and making even less noise. Be careful not to mix your new companion in with all the other juicy delicacies lying around. You wouldn’t want to accidentally take a bite!
Stage Two: Unfurling (5-7 days)
How strange. That piece of fruit you set aside has begun to move. In fact, it appears there is something hiding beneath the bright, tasty skin that is now attempting to find its way out!
Stage Three: Critter (Forever?)
Oh my, a little creature has revealed itself from within your fruit! I’d be more careful of what I eat from now on if I were you. You never know what might be hiding inside the coffee beans… or a loaf of bread.
Unlimited Critters - Unlimited Critters will always be available. There is an endless supply of them. Although you might not see the same ones at every event, you can be sure you'll see them more than once. They are represented by this symbol: o
Limited Critters - If a Critter is Limited, that means there will only be between 3 and 6 of that specific fruit ever made. If less than 6 fruits are given away, there is a possibility of seeing another few in the future. They are represented by this symbol: -
Rare Critters - There will only ever be 2 or 3 of these fruits made. They are represented by this symbol: +
One-of-a-Kind Critters - If a Critter is one-of-a-kind, it will be the only one of its species. They are represented by this symbol: *
It was an abnormally hot day in the middle of August when young Yavenata drove along the dusty, dirt roads towards the property she had inherited from her recently deceased Grandmother. The sweltering heat pulled every drop of moisture from the air, simultaneously driving the woman towards dehydration and soaking the only pair of clothes she had with her. The moving van had been delayed, so Yavenata had decided to forge on ahead, having her possessions sent after her.
About half a mile from the acres of land she now owned, the young woman noticed a fruit stand on the edge of the street. She could smell the delectable perfume of ripe fruit drifting through the open windows. The scent alone was enticing enough to drive the wheezing, old car to the side of the road.
The display was simply fantastic. Everything from apples and pears to gooseberries and dragon fruit were set out for all to see. ”Hello?” Yavenata called into the empty tent, and yet nobody responded. However, the girl was far too hot and irritated to leave with nothing. Thus, she grabbed three paper bags from behind the counter and filled them with a broad assortment of juicy goodies, leaving a few bills lying on the cash register. Satisfied with her purchases, she headed towards her new home.
An audible sigh passed through Yavenata’s lips as she heaved the bags onto the table in her new kitchen before making her way towards the thermostat and gratefully flipping on the air conditioner. There was very little to do now that she was here. After all, she had nothing but a small medical kit with her. Her clothes and things wouldn’t be arriving until the next morning at the earliest.
Collapsing onto a sturdy, wooden chair at the kitchen table, Yavenata reached into a bag and pulled out an orange to snack on. However, she noticed a number of feathers sticking through the rind. Confused, the girl began to peel the orange, only to wind up with a small, colorful bird lying curled up in the palm of her hand. Large, sapphire eyes blinked down at the tiny, unexpected creature who chanced a glance up as well, eager to discover who had jilted her from her restful slumber.
Early the next morning, Yavenata headed back towards the fruit stand. The little bird, whom she had dubbed Aria, was perched contentedly on her shoulder, bright, intelligent eyes keenly taking in the new surroundings. The young woman’s face contorted in frustration as they reached the spot where the stand had been. Nothing remained but a few rinds and a piece or two of string.
The other fruits back at home had begun to show strange signs of change as well. Thus, it was soon decided that Yavenata would start an orchard on her new land. She would grow and find homes for the strange, yet fantastic creatures that she had discovered.
