The fairy stones produced by the Fairysmiths are made of magical energy from nature.
Upon completion, the stones are stored in a cell deep beneath the smithery where they
would slowly mature into fairy stones. And then they are sold in the shop!
Once awakened from their stones,
the fairies will go through some stages of change to reach adulthood:
.: The Stone :.
You have just acquired a fairy stone. A stone is pure, crystallized fairy energy.
A Fairy Stone has nature's general essence. A Honey Stone has the essence of all sweet things.
A Petal Stone has the essence of the flowers' grace. A Wind Stone has the essence of the moving air.
With the playing of the Kakapa Flute, a fairy bud will emerge from the stone in 5 days.
You may use the Moon Cloth or Sun Cloth to affect the fairy's gender at this stage,
otherwise it will grow to be genderless.
.: The Cabbage :.
The fairy bud, also known as the cabbage stage due to their cabbage-y appearance.
This stage is when the sprites are still bundled up in their wings.
Having been affected by the Kakapa Flute, certain items and the heart of its owner,
it now has unique characteristics of its own. Wild fairies usually start from this stage.
You can now ask the shop staff to identify your fairy's wing type for you.
You can now feed it Sugar Dews and a corresponding incense to help their wings unwind.
.: The Sprite :.
Sprites are young fairies, pure and innocent children with cute, stubby wings.
The sprites' forms are often simpler, their personalities untainted and natural.
From here on you can feed them various sorts of fairy food to make them grow and
develop its adult personality. Depending on the type of food and items you
give to the sprite, the kind of fairy they become would be affected.
.: Fairy :.
The full-grown adult fairy possess a mature body along with sleek, beautiful wings.
It is the final stage of a fairy's growth. They have grown due to the energy that they have
absorbed and are now capable of doing all sorts of things they couldn't do as a sprite!
.: The Specialized Fairy :.
Few fairies may come across certain events and the development
of special skills/powers that gives them the right to claim certain titles.
(e.g. King, Queen, Knight, Warrior, Messenger, Cupid. The list is endless.)
This new-found power can affect their original being and may
transform them in interesting ways.
