Yeah! Just had my first day today! So just collecting all my syllabi. Getting intimidated.

But holy canoli I am *this* close to getting a policy piece I wrote published. I am freaking out a little and it's also seriously improving my mood which leading up to my birthday/going back to school was preemptive homesickness and crises grouchiness, touchiness, hyper-sensitivity to everything, feeling like a useless lump of nobody, and wanting to cry.

Apologies to anyone I've offended lately! I get kind of snappish around my birthday, ahaha.
You guys are lucky you don't live with me, I was giving everyone (read: mostly my dad, I was like a velcro cat with my mom and best friend) the silent treatment for the two days prior to my birthday (it was like "DON'T TOUCH ME >:C")
