11/30/07 - Hey everyone~ Afraid I don't have my internet back yet and I won't be able to get on as often as I would like. I don't want to just leave the thread with nothing so I'll be trying to get as much done as I can. I'll announce the winners for the Raffle and halloween events so they can start rping and such (though I don't know exactly when they will be certed), and I'll work on starting the hiring thread.

You've got an assignment!

1st-Most of you are people that have been killed by this monster. It tore you up and ate you. You must now write a journal entry from your point of view that describes how you feel now that you know that it hadn't died, your fears for your Pundu now that it has to deal with the monster, and what you think should be done.

2nd-Your pundu is still young, and hasn't really faced death or been introduced to mixed cultures. From your pundus point of view, write what they fear or expect from this whole event, and what they plan to do to help out or save their own skins.

[Pundus]

The Pundus live in a coastal mountain community... Confusing neh? Well, let's explain this a little better. They live at the foot of the mountain, near the curve of the jetti. That's where the main community is. The leaders meet on the small island at the end of the jetti to discuss matters. The villagers wander, travel, play, and learn everwhere on the level parts of the island. The mountain terrain and the caves within it are off limits due to the strange beings that live in it.

Pundus are led by three leaders. One in charge of the educational professions; one in charge of the physical professions; and one in charge of the social professions. They lead their professions separately, but confir with eachother to help the whole community work as one.

Every Pundu used to be very spiritual, needing little gaudiance even at birth. But as their society developed, they lost some of that spirituality. Noticing the problem, the elders decided that from now on all born Pundus would be assigned to 'Watchers.' These spirits will guide the Pundu children through their lives, helping them pick a profession, study it, and master it. As well as help them form relationships and keep or destroy them.

Anathia:
The fire burned as it always had at this time of night; except for tonight was special. The night sky was shrouded by a few clouds, covering up the treasure they held dear. Anathia stepped out of her home, slowly; due to age, but with a grace no other Pundus could accomplish.

The aged, but wise Pundus took her seat where she always had. Anathia waited for her son to arrive; some one had to gather all the Pundus and this old one couldn't do it on her own.

Radien:
Radien walked swiftly to his mother's home, giving a nod. "Is it time yet?" He frowned. Hoperfully not. Not many were ready yet. He sighed, "Some are not ready. The children need to be watched. Perhaps Frankie, the daycare pundus would watch the children and-" He paused and sighed, rubbing his temples. "Well, to make a long story short, we aren't ready."

Anathia:
Anathia smiled quietly, "Soon my son... soon," Anathia shifted her gaze from Radien to the fire burning brightly, "But... that's not why I have asked for you to see me," The wise and aged Pundus then averted her eyes back up to Radien, "I need your help gathering all the Pundus... I have something important to discuss!"

Anathia rested her hands on her lap, "We are running out of time! I sense this creature is getting stronger by the day; we don't have much left!"

Radien:
Radien let out a sigh. Part of it seemed... relaxed, the other seemed concerned.

It mostly sounded concerned.

"When do you need them gathered?" He paused, looking up from the ground to his mother, "And... why? What do you need to discuss?"

His eyes trailed to the embers, his eyes shimmering in the light.

Anathia:
Anathia moved her gaze away from her son to the ground beneath her; "Soon... very soon," Anathia looked back up into his eyes, "We will be needing to have a talk about our progress..."

The wise woman closed her eyes, leaving Radien's last question unanswered for the time, but in time the answer would be revealed.

Radien:
Radien blinked and furrowed his eyebrows at his mother's ignoring his last comment and shrugged, standing up and walked to the door. His hand rested on the frame and looked over his shoulder, "Anything else?"

Anathia:
"Thank you... Thank you my son!" Anathia looked back up and smiled weakely, due to the age the pundus had gained through her years.
Now all that was needed was for the all the pundus on the island to come together and listen to the aged wise pundus' story.

[Pundus]

Pundus are panda-anthros. They are human in every feature excluding their looks. As their 'watcher,' you will be in charge of following them everywhere, keeping track of what they do, and what effects it has on them.

However, your main job is to help them pick a profession and learn it like a pro. You can choose one of any of these professions for your Pundu. When they become adults, Pundus master their profession. Then, they are given a nifty scroll in their items box that proves their knowledge and dedication.

-Magic user (This is limited to auctioned Pundus and certain flatsale Pundus. See the flatsale rules for specifics).

Here's some basic information about Pundus attitudes durring their different growth stages:

Babies- Ravenous eaters and sleepers, their teeth are sharp as needles and their paws like knives. They spend most of their time eating and sleeping, as they have the intelegence of any human baby. However, they tend to like pretty colors and soft things. They do not wear clothes.

Children- Mischivous little trouble makers, they like to play games like hide and seek and tag without telling you. They spend most of their time playing or exploring, as they are very curious about the world. They run around nude too.

Teenagers- Angsty and know-it-all-Pundus, just like human teenagers. Some are insecure about thier looks, some as asses, some are just sweet. However, almost all of them spend their time studying, for this is the stage in which your pundu will choose their profession and study it. (The teenage outfit will be chosen by the colorist that made your Pundu.)

Adults- Adults are fully formed and unique Pundus. (The art is different for each one. The pose is chosen by the artist. But like the teenagers, you may RP their adult outfit). They are now pros at whatever profession they got in to, and start contributing to the Pundu society.

Angelic Pundus!

Angelic Pundus are rare, and quite different. They live in the mountain peaks of the Pundu island. They are usually lighter in color, fluffier, more gracefull, and develope quicker mentally than other Pundus do. Angelics are, obviousely, the closest to the old ways of the Pundus. Spiritual. However, their spirituality doesn't mean they don't need a watcher. If you aren't careful of how you raise them, angelic Pundus can turn, and not into normal Pundus.

Another important thing to consider when careing for an Angelic Pundu is that they are more capable of learning than average Pundus. If you wish, they can complete one profession as a child, and a second profession as a teenager.

Demonic Pundus!

These Pundus are even more rare that angelic Pundus. Demonic Pundus are larger, bulkier, darker in color, and meaner than other Pundus. They rarely come out of their cave homes, so watchers barely find them through elder's auctioning them off. Basically Demonic Pundus have no spiritual connection, and don't like to listen to their watchers. Because of this, they can't focus enough to gain a profession, and loose any knowledge that they may have gotten before. Since they are so large, they are only good at fighting.
-Nothing further is known of the Demonic Pundus or how they are raised.-

[Pundus]

Here is Our Guild, Owners!

(Please note that Pundus are to be RP'd in the guild. They CAN be RP'd in your journal outside of the guild, with other pets, but that will not count towards their adult form. Pundus have a specific goal, and that can only be accomplished in the guild).

You can RP in third person, or first person from the Watcher's point of view. Remember! Watchers are just spirits! That means they cannot touch Pundus, and they do not have separate dwellings (they follow their Pundus everywhere, and have no bodily functions, so they've no need). However, Pundus can see and hear them as a Spiritual Essence. Not solid.

The main goal of Rping is to develope your Pundu's character, make it an individual, get it realtionships. Basically, give it a life. You are also supposed to, as for its profession, help it master said profession.

These scrolls are given to a Pundu whenever it masters said profession. So normally each Pundu will have one. However, if you are an avid RPer and really want your Pundu to be all cool and smart, adults can get another profession every 3 months. These scrolls will show up in their item boxes, along with anything else that they might get! *hint* Events *hint*

----Requirements----

There will be two types of flatsales. RP required and Non-RP. RP required flatsale Pundus will need a journal entry once a month to be kept. They will need to be RP'd in the thread durring events, or a few times a month, to grow regularly. Non-RP flatsale pundus will not be required to RP. Both will reach their adult stage.

Teen Info: Since some of the Pundus are becomming teens, I thought this necissary. TEENS ARE STUDYING to become a professional whatever it is that they are studying. So, before they can get their diploma thing, their watcher needs to post 5 SEPARATE entries in their journals describing something that they learned and how they learned it.

In our guild we have made special stickies, where certain areas in the town can be RP'd in. However, all owners are allowed to request a journal. Please send all requests to either Reitheneko or Pundus. They will be made in the guild subforum 3nodding

----PERKS!----

If an owner of a Pundu regularly RPs in a journal/ and or group RP with a plot, they will be allowed to choose any ONE of the following for their adult Pundus, regardless of their teenager's experiences.
1-Special markings/tattoos/piercings or whatever.
2-A new hair style and specific pose.
3-To have the adult angelic-ized.
4-To have the adult demonic-ized.
5-A free breeding slot.
6-To choose a (or another if they've already got one) pet for free.

Flatsale/Auction/Artist Information and Rules

Flatsale Rules:
-Each will cost 7-10k, depending on the artist and how much they worked on it. Usually 7k.
-RP Required flatsale Pundus MUST BE RP'd. They will be taken away otherwise.
-NO whinning. We work hard on these Pundus.
-Prompts will be provided for RP recquired Pundus.
-Prompts will be judged on spelling/grammar, creativity, accuracty (applied to prompt and all that).
-Only RP flatsale Pundus can learn magic. (other than auction or event Pundus).
-Non-RP flatsale Pundus do not have to be RP'd. We expect you not to.
-Non-RP flatsales are first come first serve. No prompts.
-Only one pet per person in a flatsale.

Judging - After a certain amount of time the flatsale will be closed and the rp managers will look over the prompts. Those who they think best address the prompt, as well as good writing, will get the pundus. If there are any left after the RP pundus are sold, then we will sell the others to the people who wanted to buy them Non-RPable (Not before, so don't send in trades until we confirm)

The following are some special items that you can buy for your Pundu:
-No Growth Potion- It will stop your Pundu from growing any more than it already has. -5000g-
-Accelerated Growth Potion- Only effective on babies and children. This will just make teenagers ill for a few days! And it only works once. -5000g-
-Angelic Potion- Adds wings to your Pundu and makes them angelic (able to concentrate better and all that jazz). If used in the middle of the stage they will only get wings, but the new lineart will begin at the next stage. -200,000g-
-Demonic Potion- Adds the spikes of the demonic Pundu and makes them demonic (not able to concentrate and a good fighter). If used in the middle of the stage it will only add spikes, but the new lineart will begin at the next stage. -300,000g-

[Pundus]

There comes a time in every Pundus life when they are able to breed. Namely, adult-hood. Breeding is only open to Pundus who's watchers have replied successfully to ALL monthly prompts. We'd prefer that you actually RP a relationship for your Pundus, but that's not required.

Whenever your Pundus have babies, you can choose to keep them, give them to others as a gift, or sell them through the store. (You must sell them through the store. You will receive 50% of the payment).

Normal Breeding:
Normal breeding costs 10k, and the artist with breeding slots open will choose to give you 1-2 Pundu babies. They will choose the color scheme and the gender.

Breeding Plus:
If you choose to pay 20k, you will be allowed to choose the gender of your Pundu babies. You still cannot choose the color scheme. That borders on custom.

Yo!! I'm Sea and I'm a colorist for the shop ( as well as owner and part-manager XD ). Although I don't draw any of the adult lineart, I do lineart edits and can color all stages. I enjoy doing customs so feel free to order one if my slots are open. I am willing to try all kinds coloring patterns and clothings ( as long as it's appropriat e).

I don't have a really long list of items that I especially want except for the kitsune mask and nitemare headbands. I will however accept most items costing as much as slots cost.

I love breedable pets, especially the human like ones.

The main thing on my list however is OC art. I have many characters that I would love to see art of.
