o7/o6/o7 - Small flatsale planned for the 13th. Also there will be a Harry Potter House themed flatsale around the time of the realease of the 7th book so keep your eyes out
o6/14/o7 Lisa Frank Event has started. It will run for a full week ending on June 14th at 9pm EST. Please stop by if you've got a chance.

Rules/FAQ

.General Rules.

1. Please follow the rules of Gaiaonline at all times.
2. Read all thread information before asking questions, it saves everyone time.
3. If you still have questions please post them in the thread rather than over pm.
4. Do not ask for a Kirin when there are not any available. Do not beg.
5. Roleplay is not required but encouraged (and rewarded ^_~).
6. Direct linking is OK!. In fact, until your Kirin is an adult, all images must remain directly linked in order for the Kirin to mature.
7. Do not steal or reproduce any images without permission, excepting fanart of course ;3 Fanart makes us happy.
8. Try to keep things between fellow owners and lurkers friendly, if you really can't let it be then take the fight to pm, in-thread bitching makes us cry, and if we cry you pay.
9. You may not sell your Kirin/Eggs. Any attempts to do so will result in you being banned from the shop.
10. Have fun.
11. Pretty please do not PM any of the Owners with Kirin related inquiries. Our inboxes suffer enough.
12. We reserve the right to add/change the rules as we see fit.

Sure, if you wait for a sale/event like everyone else

3. How much do they cost? How many can I own?

4. What if I bribe you with stuff or wanna do a pet trade? Can I have one now?
PetTrade/Bribe info should be sent to the Mule with the name of who you are bribing in the PM title

5. Do I have to roleplay my Kirin?
No, but if you do you may end up with perks

6. Can Kirin breed?
Yes they can. Breeding info can be found in the Breeding post

7. Is co-ownership allowed?
Yes. If you are going to Rp the Kirin please decide who is going to RP it before you co-own.

8. Can I be a guest colorist?
We have pleanty of owners/colorists. If we need guest colorists we will ask either our friends or hold a contest

9. Do you do customs? What about lineart edits or cosplays?
Yes and Yes. Customs/Cosplays will be hard to get and on the pricey side. Why? Because we have lives and dont want to spend all our time doing cosplays. That and we want them to be rare.

Pricing and Availability

• Flatsales:
  - Generally the sales will be first come, first serve. Any special rules will be posted before the start of the sale.
  - There may be different types of flatsales(ie: rp promts, treasure hunts, etc). As mentioned above, any change to the traditional speed sale format will be announced before hand.
  - There will on occasion be sales that are newbie-only, meaning people that already own a Kirin cannot get one at that event.
  - The flatsale begins when one of the staff members makes a "GO" post, and not a second before that. After the GO post you must indicate which egg you'd like to buy. Only one attempt per post. If the one you asked for is claimed, you may make another post to try for another.
  - DO NOT edit your posts or complain if you did not get something from the sale. No poor sportsmanship. People who violate this rule will be blacklisted.
  - You may only claim one egg per sale event. If you'd like to participate for a friend, that's acceptable, but by doing so, you forfeit your own chance at the sale. This also includes people that have already obtained a egg and wish to try for someone else during the same sale. This is not allowed.
  - Winners must send a trade of 5,ooog gold to the shop mule account: "KiriKa Temple".
  
  
• Auctions:
  - Starting bid is 5,000g There will rarely be any autobuy.
  - Only gold and donation items will be accepted.
  - Do not try to guilt trip people out of bidding in the auction.
  - Do not cheer for an individual bidder. Good natured well wishing is fine, but keep it minimal.
  
  
• Raffles:
  - Raffle rules will vary. They will be posted here as needed.

Custom Rules!!
1. You may order one Kirin per custom opening
2. You may co-own up to 2 people
3. Customs's may take up to a week to finish depending on the complexity and the Staffer's RL issues
4. All colorists have a life so please respect their time and abilities.
5. Payment is due 24 hours or slot will be reopened for someone else to purchase.
6. If your pattern is extremely complicated (this is at the disgression of the colorist) an extra charge may be applied
7. No refunds!
8. Do not guilt trip anyone out of buying a custom slot.

10. Please have correct change, there is no guarentee that the Staffers can pay you back

Stages

I look like what?

Egg - The eggs of the Kirin are as hard as stone. So there isnt really a worry of them breaking, but i wouldnt suggest knocking them around too. Might cause adverse affects
Baby - Freshly hatched and ready to learn about the world. They will just be starting developing their 'powers' in alignment with their elements.
Adult - Fully grown and with an almost complete grasp of their powers. Your kirin will start to be independent from you and want to explore

I look like what?

Elder - The elders are a special breed of Kirin. Only after a Kirin has grown in power and become wise will it be able to reach this stage. (This stage will be able to be reached only by thread activity or special potions)

Anthro - The Anthro's are special little buggers that like to dress up like their favorite characters and pretend they are other people. (Anthro's are going to be COSPLAY ONLY, there will be very very rare chances that you can turn a normal KiriKa into an anthro but this is going to be extremely rare)

Hatter is your average little demon. Yes she bites, yes she will steal your soul, no she does not like the ultimate evil color. Please feed her or she might end up eating the other staffers

The Pervinator
mer-mer is a little nutso. You might notice this by her random flailings in thread, and the fact that she most often sleeps in someone else's pants. Beware her toe-nibbling tendencies. She also keeps a supply of typo-demons in her closet. They like to wreak havoc in her posts on a regular basis.

note: Despite the gorgeous, corsetted male physique, merangue is, in fact, quite female.

Bulls is every bit as insane as the rest of the staff, happily tackling people to steal their Sprite, cookies, and other such yummy products. She is also known to have an incredibly short attention span, so please excuse any spacing out on her part.
