This is a Pokemon-inspired contest where anyone can join in at any time, whether you're an Avatar Talk reg who's just looking for some inspiration, or a completely new user who wants to learn their way around this lovely little forum.

How to Play:
So here's the thing. You're a Gaiamon trainer, living in the land of Avatar Talk. You can choose from one of three types for your starter and only Gaiamon: Basicbitch (Matching), Rallyfart (Style) and Creamwhat (Theme),
evolving to Matchicore, Stylebamf, and Themekin, at level 5,
and finally Matcheoxys, Styletina, Themizard at level 9.
(These are just for fun! Your entries don't need to correspond to these, but it'd be p cool if they did)

Your Gaiamon starts at level one. Your mission? To get him to level 10, beat the Elite Four and become the champion of Avatar Talk, with massive prizes (upwards of 1 billion gold) to follow!

Upon reaching level 10, you can choose to go up against the four of us, the true Elite Four, in four unique challenges designed to be based off the four of us, which will be clarified later in a different post.

It takes 60 EXP to level up each time, which will be tracked by us.

You can do this by achieving Experience points and leveling up. Anyone can take part at any time in the contest, even if you've missed multiple main challenges.

To get experience points, you can do any number of things:
-Participate in large challenges for greater chunks of EXP at a time, and WIN them for bonus EXP.
-Participate in mini-challenges for smaller amounts of EXP, and sometimes WIN them for bonus EXP.
-More way may be added later

Once your reach certain point denominations, your Gaiamon will 'level up' as mentioned above!
At levels 3, 6 and 9, you will receive special prizes!
Prize tiers:
Level 3: 100 mil
Level 6: 250 mil
Level 9: 500 mil
Level 10 and beat the Elite Four: 2 billion gold

Rules:
1. Don't be a b***h unless you're one of us, the thread owners.
2. Use only avatars made by YOU, obviously.
3. Respect the TOS and respect the rules or risk getting put on the Hall of Shame with Francisco.
4. No spamming.

This will show the current challenges in which you can level yourself to become the greatest pokemon there ever was! These will help you level up the quickest as they will contain the most exp in any one given quest. These challenges will range in difficulty depending on your level.

The third challenge is: Make your own team rocket goons!
Throughout the games you’ll be faced with many foes, one of the main threats is the villainous teams you face. Whether it be Team Rocket or Team Plasma they’re all slightly different. In this round we’d like to see your very own villainous team and how they’d all dress. Simply make a male and female version of the goons for the entry.

You'll need to use one of the following items: Submarine capsule, one of the gacha items or a galaxy grenade.
The second requirement would be to use an animal companion which will be their pokemon.
The third and final requirement would be to make a male and female base as every team as different outfits for different genders.

mini challenges for nerds, worth 20-30 EXP each or more

Challenge 1: Avatar Snap -
Get 3 rates of 9/10 or more from any high-standards rater or raters, and quote one of us linking to each rate for our approval on if that rate counts. (Worth 30 EXP after approval, just inquire)(Repeatable)

Challenge 2: Who's That Pokemon?
Create a creature avatar that looks like a new Pokemon. Give it a name and state its type(s). (20 EXP)(Repeatable 3x)

Challenge 3: High Standards
Get 10 hella rad ratings from pearlmethyst, Susue, or Curious Brownies; 10 fly ratings from Aqua Fortise, or 5 from each. You can only ask for 3 a day. (100 EXP)(Repeatable)

Challenge 4: One of the Best
Recreate (cosplay) any actual Pokemon gym leader from any Pokemon game or show. (20 EXP) (Repeatable 3x)
