Tips and Tricks for making nice avis
- Use lots of face details, don't forget a nose (where appropriate), blush/makeup, lashes, blemishes, etc. Aim for unique faces
- Mix two or more color schemes together. Try to mix schemes that don't normally match for unique and interesting color combos
- Try picking a hair color that is not part of the rest of the avi. I think it makes it seem more "natural" (like an average person wouldn't dye their hair every single day to match their outfit)
- Details, details, details! Go overboard when adding details. But make sure you step back and think if the accessory matches the theme of the avi. I tend to remove several details after looking at it. Unless you are specifically going for a cluttered look, it can get out of hand sometimes smile
- Create nice silhouettes. Blur your eyes and look at your avi, does it look like a blob? Try to give it a definitive shape. If you blacked out your avi, can you still recognize it?
- Use your outfits tab to view your avi. It's kind of like when artists flip the canvas. Open up the outfits tab and look at the avi in there, it often gives me a new perspective
