to my bribe art thread!

First of all, allow me to express my sincerest apologies to those who have PM'd me before in the hopes that i do some art for them...but you all just seemed to be piling up one after another in the subsequent months and i just couldn't handle the queue anymore.

Which led me to think of doing it this way...

I am a very moody artist. You may call it lazy (sometimes it kind of feels like that, honestly), but i have observed that i put out my best when i get really inspired to draw certain avis/OCs.

So that's how this bribe thread will work.

My selection of what to draw will be based on how much you bribe me (only items please) or how inspired I will be by your avi/OC. It may also be a combination of the two.
A high bribe doesn't automatically guarantee art from me (unless it's a golden ticket, yeah right) .
A novel-length OC description of epic proportions actually tends to overwhelm me...so, even if it's written so well, if it's too long with too many details to think about, i might not be able to do it.

Please do not be offended if I do not pick your avi/OC.
I usually decline requests because I cannot do certain avis/OCs justice. My skills are very limited. If i feel I will not be able to make you 100% (or at least 70%) happy, i'd rather not do it at all. OTL

Also, i will be flip-flopping back-and-forth through all bribes depending on my mood, so make sure your bribe post is in Document post-style so I won't miss it while reviewing the thread---i'm blind XP.

arrow Stuff you need to know about this bribe thread and the artist...

1. I will only pick one entry/post at a time.
Because i am busy IRL and when i do have time for art, i only want to devote my free time entirely for one piece.
How often i get to pick a post depends on how free i'll be IRL, which is quite unpredictable.

2. Depending on my mood and/or how your avi/OC strikes me, i may choose to either do a chibi or full-bod.
So please, have a bid/bribe for either. But i will only choose to do one and not both.

3. I am a slooow artist.
But i will update you with WIPs and stuff as often as I can! (see "process" post for more details)

4. My art style is inconsistent.
I am heavily influenced by certain anime/manga I am watching/reading and may affect the style of the art at the time of its creation. And I experiment a lot. Some experiments are more "successful" than others.

5. Please give leeway for artistic interpretation.
I know you have your references and descriptions, but in cases where minor details may not be described, i hope you will give me the chance to offer my own spin on your character...

6. I don't have anyone in my Ignore list and I intend to keep it that way.
Let's all try and have fun ok? I will not tolerate any flaming, trolling, or negativity in this thread (constructive criticism is fine and i don't perceive that as negativity). Thank you in advance.

7. Feel free to chat among yourselves...I may reply once in a while, but when i start art-ing, expect me to be quiet until i'm done with the piece.

9. No big bumping images please...emoticons are okay.

Depending on where I am IRL at the moment of my art-ing, the first DRAFT could be either done directly using my tablet (Wacom Bamboo):

or a badly photographed sketch done with pen and paper:

The next step involves cleaning up the LINE ART (which usually is the hardest part for me and thus takes me the longest)

Then onto the FLAT COLORS...

The PREVIEW: (the actual size in desaturated colors with a tiny version at the corner with the real colors; may or may not have watermarks)

Then the FINAL product (which you will only obtain AFTER the trade has been completed):
May be in jpg, png form
Chibis may vary from 300-500px in height
Full bod at least 800px in height (standing pose)

Oh, and these are what my chibis may look like...

And i'm sorry i couldn't be chat-ier...RL is sucking away my gaia-ing time as much as my arting time at the moment!
