Welcome to Petit Promenade, our contest and an anniversary celebration for Ban-chan (my girlfriend) and I. On July, 28th, it will be THREE YEARS! It is time to celebrate! biggrin

Theme is free, and you should be as creative as God allow you to be, but here you have a little description for getting ideas:

We met a lot of time ago in a rock concert, and we are lovers since July 28th 2007. I really want to get married with her, haha. We love to make walks, dance, speak a lot and, and sleep together (I can spend an entire week sleeping in her bed… without wake up XD. But she get to get me back to reality with the wonderful breakfasts she cooks) I love to play music and to sing for her, and she dances for me, or read tails and poems. I buy for her a lot of clothes, and she feed me with milk and honey in industrial quantities. And obviously we have our p0rn-dark-side, haha, well, she would say “romatic-erotic-dark-side”. It is the kingdom of the French kiss. And our “cute-pretty-light-side” is the kingdom of the bear-hug, then XD. And that’s all you need to know XP.

I. You can send fullbody, waist-up or headshot in anime/manga style, realistic or cartoon drawings, normal or chibi, whichever is your style. Colored or inked, not sketched. We like CG art as well as traditional.

II. You can’t send full-anthro, pixel art, photomanipulations or literature, I am sorry

III. You can send works since midnight (GTM -6) February 28th until midnight (GTM -6) July, 28th

IV. We reserve the right of declar desert a category

V.You can send as many drawings as you want. You can win in all categories, first and second place, if your art is really amazing

VI. A drawing can't win in more that one category

VII. Ban-chan and I are the only valid judges. Don't try to suggest someone.



The selection criteria looked four aspects:

1. Style: Definition of a proper maner of drawing and composing the image. 10 points
2. Originality: Ability of proposing a new idea or concept, unnusual and innovative. 10 points
3. Technique: Quality of anatomy, coloring, shading, etc. 10 points
4. Character mind: Identification with the original characters and detail. 15 points

Plus a bonus of 5 points determinated for specifyc characteristics of the drawing itself that we like, for a total of 50 points.

The minimum mark is 40 (80%) and all entries under that mark are not qualifyed for receiving a big prize. The highest mark does not give you necessarily the first prize.

It is not possible to make all participants win, but we would like to get it. We are proud of our almost 200k in participation gifts for that reason, and we pray for having got you all happy with the results.

Normal canon couple was to difficult, and we want to explain it. Fenrier Frosthowl and Wolfscreamer did an incredible job. And the majority of the people would say Fenrier should win. It was very hard. But finally we chose Wolfscreamer, because Fenrier got was we were, and Wolf, what we are. We love our past, but we are celebrating our present. Our three years together, our way, our love.
