Watering your container garden plants does not have to be tricky. Here are some tips and techniques for watering your container gardens.

There are many types of insects that plague roses. You may find that some of the insects that harm roses are not in your area so you will not have to worry about them in your organic rose garden. However, the ones that you can find in your area could potentially kill your rose plant. Nothing looks worse than a beat up or dying rose bush in one's garden. So make sure you avoid this scenario at all costs. Some of the insects that cause problems for rose bushes are the following: Japanese beetles, rose can borers, stem girders, caterpillars, rose chafers, rose midge larva, rose slugs and scale insects.

If you do not have room to plant a large container water garden plant a few smaller pots with aquatic plants. These plants placed in container water gardens are more mysterious than traditional potted plants. A big plus to aquatic gardens is that they are very low maintenance. No more having to rely on your neighbors to water your gardens when you leave on vacation or a business trip. For the kids, add a sprouting ornament to really delight them.

It's not enough to only consider the growing zone you reside in for the purposes of picking the right plants. Neither is it enough of an excuse to stock up at the local nursery because the spring planting season has arrived. If you've lived in your home long enough, you've most likely become greatly accustomed to the amount of sunlight each area of your yard receives. Well, have heart new homeowners; because keeping a few key things in mind will help keep you from making costly plant purchases as well.
