If your garden is not well maintained you will face the bain of every gardners life, weeds. No sooner do you get rid off them that another one replaces it. If this is the case then the best thing to do for your garden and your sanity is after weeding the area cover it in a good natural mulch. This is a double edged sord as not only is it bio-degradable and will add nutrients back into your garden topsoil, it will discourage weeds from re-growing as it blocks out all light.

Certain color combinations are naturally easy on the eyes. Examples of complimentary colors include orange and purple, yellow and blue, red and green. To create a color-themed garden, choose plants with similar colors. For a dramatic appearance, use a splash of burgundy, orange and purple flowers mixed with foliage, or variegated foliage with white, pale yellow and blue flowers. In shade, consider different shades of green.

All this evidence shows there's a strong relationship between gardening and health, but we only know for sure that there is correlation, not causation. This means we can't say that gardening alone is a direct cause of any improvements in health and well-being. We also need to directly examine the immediate effects of gardening on people who have never previously taken part or are suffering from mental and physical ill health.

Be clear about corporate culture. Part of the Nordstrom company's training for employees is instilling the corporate culture in all employees, letting them know what is expected of them. Their employees learn to do whatever it takes to make a customer happy. They are trained that Nordstrom believes people in their store are guests and therefore deserve the best service. When employees are trained in to this culture, they can produce the sales results they must achieve for success. The company will trust them with a lot of operational freedom in performing their job. However, if the employee has trouble buying in to this culture, it is safe to say he will not be happy or successful at Nordstrom.
