Fig HPLC chromatograms of tryptic digests
We propose that Epothilone B u-shaped gully systems are more likely to form on low-sediment supply continental margins dominated by sheet-like fine-grained muddy turbidity currents where entrainment of fine-grained sediments from the continental shelf may be triggered by storm driven resuspension.

Location map and satellite view of the study area. Cores LL1 and LL1bis were retrieved from the 1755 sandy washover fan (Gracia et al., 2006 and Reicherter et al., 2010). The bridge was constructed at the beginning of the eighteenth century and partially destroyed by the 1755 tsunami.

The geomorphic impact of storms along the southwestern Spanish coast is lipases limited to littoral spits, beaches and seaward dune slopes, despite MWH (mean wave height) often exceeding 5 m (Rodríguez-Ramírez et al., 2003).
