My life is good
From a bystander's view.
But at least i know
What i must make anew.
One moment I think I can,
The next, i'm falling away.
My wickedness takes a hold of me,
But i know i can't stay.
How i'd love to give it all up
To let God control my life
But every time i try,
I just fail in strife.
This time i've had enough,
This time i'll commit for sure
And when the going gets rough,
I'll turn to the Lord for the cure.
If you ever see me slip or start to fall,
Keep me from moving at all.
Help me to stand my ground,
Help me to stay around,
Then you can be sure that I'll help you too,
And together, we will make it through.
