Gerard was having more luck than wiL with his task, at least he was still alive. But he couldnt find the one loose end of The Aiden Family. How was she doing? Was she even still alive? He wasnt sure. He had yet to contact the girl's mother, who for some reason neglected the telephone. Sighing in defeat he sat down. He was at Chinook lake. At least he had made it that far, to her hometown. Little did he know that her house was only a couple blocks away, and that she had spent many a night at that lake, sleeping on the picnic tables with friends. He stood up again, and crossed the street to go to Sobey's. Maybe someone there would know her? Who would he ask? One by one he asked everyone, showing them the picture he had managed to print out from the girls myspace. It wasnt until he talked to a blonde boy that he got the answer he was looking for. "Her?" Gerard nodded. "Yeah I know her." The blonde boy laughed. "I went to school with her, she was really weird." The boy put down the soup he was slowly filing on the shelf to talk to Gerard. Gerard shot him a questioning look. "What do you mean by 'was'?" The boy laughed again. "She went mental, she was shipped out to some stupid hospital, and thats the last anyone has heard of her." He took a breath, looking back down to the work he wasnt doing. "Ask anyone, everyone knows who she is, she stood out." "Do you know where she lives?" Gerard asked, picking up some soup and helping the boy. He didnt want him to get into trouble. "Bout a block away from here, her mom never leaves the house now, I've delivered groceries there before." Gerard took in all this information and started to formulate a plan. He lifted the soup can he was holding up to the light as if it was going to reveal a secret message. He looked left and right and made sure the isle was clear. Without taking a second thought the pounded the boy hard over the head with the can, when it didnt affect him he did it again, and again, until he was unconcious. Making sure to be very discret he took the boy to the back room and started to peel off his clothes, leaving him underwear, of course. He changed into the Sobey's uniform and tied the boy up, shoving him in a broom closet. With another smile he told himself: We're both blonde, no one will know the differance.
wiL on the other hand, was struggling with the girl who had just sunk her theeth into his neck. He gentally lifted her head up, her theeth making a large squealching sound as they came out of the wound. "Brilliant," He muttered, running a hand over the wound, trying to stop blood flow. Beth was standing there awkwardly, wondering if she should help him or not. "Get into the vechicle," He moaned, pointing towards the dead end of the alley. "Theres nothing there," Beth didnt expect him to reply. She was confused, and not knowing what to make of the situation she walked forwards, side stepping a patch of moonlight that was billowing down from the sky. It was a full moon tonight, she had to do her best to avoid all contact. She had come to the brick wall that eneded the dead end. Reaching out she learnt that it was nothing more than an optical allusion, like the wall in Laybyinth, there was an opening there. You couldnt tell the differance because the wall from the opening was made out of the same red brick. With her hand out streched she turned left and then right, she was in a whole differant room. To any bystander it looked like she was standing inside the wall, but not to Beth. The room was empty except for a herse. It was quite an awkward place for a herse, she shrugged and knocked on the window. There once no answer. She knocked again and was faced with a rather loud squealing noise. The doors opened and there sat The Aiden Family. But they were differant. They looked differant. Bethy knew what it was, their powers were starting to show though. "Bethy!" Claire giggled. "Come inside!" And Beth couldnt help but obey. All the girls said theur welcomes, Beth looking each one over. Carla looked almost like a walking tree. Her hair was turning a green - blue color and it was dotted with flowers of all kinds. It was rather large, and long. She had both sides of her nose pierced and her monroe. Beth grinned. "I take it wiL is letting you guys alter your bodies?" They all shriked with laughter at the awkwardness of that comment. Britt looked amazing, in Beth's opinion. She really did look like the living dead, her hair was a mess, blood clots knotting it up. And her skin was greyish and tan, caked with blood, she had cuts and brusies everywhere. Sami too, looked unbeliveably differant. She looked industrial. She had fake hair, or cyberlox, much like what Chels was into. And she wore googles but they were the science kind, differing from Chels. Claire had a triumphant gleam in her eye. She had four piercings along her lip and starts tatooed down her cheek. To top it off, her hair was a silvery color. Mandy had her usual snake bites, but her hair was cut short and dyed black, blue and pink. She grinned at Beth. They all looked differant. Carla was the first to talk. "We wanted a change, since we couldnt do any of this stuff at home." They were all wearing the same uniform, somewhat resembling wiL's, but everyone had added thier own touch. "Uhh," Claire started. "Wheres wiL?" Beth's smile faded to a frown. "********! I forgot, hes out there. I bit him." The girls gasped and shoook the hearse, trying to get out. Sami stopped them. "You guys are really silly. Its wiL." Mandy nodded. "Yeah, he'll have something up his sleave." And without a doubt, the lead singer of Aiden piled into the front, no sign of being hurt. He turned the key in the ignition and they were off, where too? They didnt know.
