Do you ever get that feeling, like you're half-in, half-out of the world? Like your body is stuck in this life, but your soul is off in another? Do you ever get that feeling, like you just want to break down and cry, but you don't know why? Have you ever wondered, in the late hours of the night, what this world is REALLY about, and why you were put on it? Have you ever wanted to run out into the night and dance under the stars? Just dance, and not care who sees you? To be free, without a care in the world. What a beautiful illusion.

This is how I feel. This is what I think. What I wonder. What I wish for. The things that are impossible for many to conceive, the things that inspire wonder in a being, those are the things worth hoping for. In a world full of lies and hate, it's hard to find something to believe in. How do we know what is real and what is not? We don't. But that's what makes it worth while. For one day, if your beliefs are confirmed, that will make all the pain you've gone through, all the tears you've shed worth it.

No, I am not talking about "God". If you believe in "God" that is fine. I don't like to judge truth from asperation. It's not like I know what's real and what isn't. No, I'm talking about something I believe in. Faerie. Fine, go ahead and laugh if you want. I really don't care. Besides, I'm not talking about Fairies at the Bottom of the Garden, or the cutsie things like Tinkerbell. I'm talking about the things that dwell in your nightmares, and in your wildest fantasies. "They are called the 'Good People' not because they are good, but because they need to be appeased. 'For when they are good, they are very good, but when they are bad, they're horrid.' The kind of faeries that would just love to lead you astray in the forest, and laugh when you couldn't find your way back. The kind that dance in the moonlight and drink until the dawn. I may be foolish. I'm definately not smart. But it's just something to keep me going in the hard times.
