My father looked at me then back at the principal. He let out one of those sighs like if he had a hard day. It was only after school and I was sitting in the principal's office with a broken wrist. It wasn't my fault that the kid had bones and no meat. The kid that had a few cracked ribs and a nose bleed was in a worse state than me. I just had a broken wrists. He was sent to the hospital but he had a ashma attack after the fight.
Lowering my head slightly, I felt a bit of guilt creep up my throat. I didn't send him to the hospital, but they were going to blame me like I did. My father ran his hand through his hair and asked how long.
The principal who was a woman, sighed slightly like it was nothing and opened my folder. Those's next two words were ripped from the heart of my dad. "He's expelled". I could sense anger in his aura. I could see that look in his eyes that only I could see. He was disappionted in me, but yet, wondered why. Why was I being expelled and the other child wasn't pusnished like I was being done too.
He stood up and grabbed me like the collar. I didn't have any stuff because I don't carry any stuff. If we had homework. I'll do it next week. I don't care. School isn't for me. I'm not smart, but my father, a wifeless man with one child was having a hard time dealing with me. It wasn't easy and I was just having the time of my life making his painful. I didn't know but he pulled me out of the office and into the hallway. With a quiet tone, like a whisper, he said: "You're not coming here tomorrow. Even though you are being expelled, we're moving away. I know I didn't tell you this before. But I got promoted and we're not going to have to bathe in cold water or hear monsters outside," okay, I thought there was monsters outside our house, but it was just raccons and other mammals of the night that are harmless to humans. I was thirteen then and now I'm seventeen and a sophmore.
I just nodded and grinned slightly. My father told me to wait out there while he filled out the papers of the expellion.
Next month, we had moved and I was assgined to a school. They didn't care about my past at my other school. They just welcomed me with open arms and helped me. Gave me things to improve myself, but after I made it out of highschool. After becoming a Tiger, since our school was the Timber Tigers. I didn't go to college. I was offered a job at acting since I joined up for Drama class in high school. This guy, a hollywood producer asking a teen like me to be a actor. My father just smiled proudly. A year later, I was starred in a movie. About a boy who went from nothing and into something. Just like me. Life is worth living. Even if you don't think you have a chance at life. Apply yourself to going something that you like. And I had a thing for acting and look where I ended up. On the movie screen.
