Yesterday, when I took myself for a walk, I saw two dogs outside without a leash - one small dog and one big dog. The big dog was a pit bull charging at me and barking at me, but it never bit me. I was scared, but I was lucky I was not hurt. At that moment, the owner came out when she heard me screaming, "Aaaah! Heeelp!" She took her pit bull back inside and apologized to me, I forgave her, and she said to her dog, "Bad dog! No!" I was tense. I walked back home and wrote a little note to plead her to keep a leash on her pit bull, then came back to her door and taped that note on her door. She got my note, and read it. I hope she understands my concern, and I hope she will keep her dog under control. Don't unleash a pit bull without a leash! It's very dangerous! It would hurt someone, then that person would need immediate medical help and attention and that pit bull would be removed from the neighborhood and the owner would be held personally responsible for unleashing such a dangerous dog. Never let it run at large! It's the animal law!
Look! I understand that it needs to be walked, but why let it roam without proper supervision? The animal would get hit by a car, be abused or attacked by other animals. They also could attack or bite folks, that's not good! Victims would be haunted for years! It is important to be more responsible than that. Please keep your pit bull on a leash or keep it in the backyard with the fence closed and locked. And put a "Beware of dog" sign on it, please? Yes, think things through before coming to a conclusion. Do us a favor, please? Thank you for your cooperation, and have a good day.

P.S. I am sorry if I sound upset or rude, but we are citizens who are concerned for our safety and welfare. It is not good to unleash a pit bull without a leash on it. That dog needs to be under control, so that it won't hurt anyone. Just saying!
