Time moved ever so slowly in the Goblin City. Jareth sat atop his throne, in his rather empty castle. His legs crossed over the arm rest, he placed his hand on his chin pondering. Wondering if his beloved Sarah would ever return to him. Jareth watched he clock tick and... nothing. It was rather foolish for him to wait for her to return. He couldn't quite understand why she left. After all she did ask him to take her baby brother, he did nothing wrong. All he ever wanted was to please her. Jareth let out a long sigh, his life had become quite a bore, nothing to do...
Jareth took a hold of his crystals, twirling them in his hands. He gazed into one, and his vivid memories played, over and over. His beloved Sarah in her beautiful ball gown, as they danced among the many masqueraded revelers. He couldn't help but smile. What good was it to be a king if he did not have his queen? He stood up from his throne and paced about his empty throne room, screaming into the emptiness "I am tired of this! The Goblin King.. ha! What good is it to be the king of this wasteland if I cannot have so much as the love of that girl? Of course, I wait day in and day out for her to realize that all I did for her was out of love. How selfish can she be?!" said the infuriated Goblin King as he paced about the lonely room.
Oh, how his heart ached. In an instant.. he could hear those words that he had not heard in so long... 'Oh, Goblin King! Goblin King! Wherever you may be!'. In an instant he walked toward the window and transformed into a white barn owl.. and flew. He flew so quickly, his owl body soon transformed into a variety of colorful sparkles... magic. He teleported to the human world, to where he had been summoned. As usual, the sky turned gloomy and grey. A loud crash of thunder soon followed, cueing the Goblin Kings arrival. He flew to the attic window, where a female figure sat, his flapping against the window grew loud. Jareth eventually broke in, a gust of wind and rain soon following. He flew about the room, until he settled and his shadow resembled his human form. The great Goblin King stood above the girl. Jareth moved his hair from his face and spoke "Sarah..?"
