Picking away, Mr. Tolouse finally was making a bit of headway getting the corner of the cell's rocky wall to crumble and crack into small stones, "Im making a decent sized hole friend" he whispered to Aluminum as he hoped not to rouse any guard if there was one.
Aluminum smiled, "No need to worry, the gift you have is enough that should a beast come or even the smallest fly you should know of it" nodding to Mr. Tolouse and once again taking up her un-moving position looking as still as a statue.
Mr. Tolouse smiled and said "Thank You" and continued to pick and after what must have been hours he had almost dislodged the first hinge of the iron bars in the cell, it was so loose it could be practically shimmed off its bolt perhaps ...with some effort as he put down his tool and started to carefully push and pull at the hinge working to get it off its bolt and free.
H worked ...and worked at it..and then he feel over as the hindge sprung back down on the bolt and he ended up on his back and sprawled on the floor with a..............OMMMMMMMFFFFFFFFF.
"Are you okay........?" asked Aluminum knowing full well she couldnt move to help him any further than her arms could reach and even then only very basically.
Getting up and onto his bottom, "Im okay,...it just surprised me was all" as he wiped his head of sweat and slowly the ringing in his head stopped.
"I have to keep going.....I have to get back and find Launde and as well help you if I can" he touched the mark on his hand remembering his promise to Aluminum, and she smiled knowing he was going to be true to his work and try to her even if it was only what little his Human Body could muster.
"Im going to pick some more at it and maybe the next time Ill be able to free it up and remove that first hindge" he spoke softly and speaking confidently "Ill get it this time!" as he smile brightly and started to pick even harder at the stone wall of the cell...........but then a sound started to echo in the room.
Someone is coming, and both He and Aluminum knew it! "He went back to a corner across from where she in her place and layed down acting as if he was sleeping or unconscious, an only a moment or two more a dark shaped appeared at the bars with bright eyes not red, but shining in the same manner as a dog or large cat shining so bright it was like two small fire-lights.
"I...heard sound, ....little clicking" he looked and moved and seemed as if he was trying to find where the sound came from but try as he might the beast saw nothing making the sound or anyone presently even active as he though like Mr. Tolouse hoped that he was still knocked out from the journey earlier.
"Must...have been........silly bugs ....or birds" he stomped off making such a noise a shaking and small shudder as it hit a wall "He must be angry...." Though Mr. Tolouse as he waited a bit longer before getting up and going back to digging.
