While favorable weather lasts, charities are mounting runs/walks to raise needed funds. As everyone knows, money is tight and the number of folks depending on nonprofit services is increasing. Running or walking in support of charities becomes a heart healthy way to keep compassionate doors open. There are runs and walks aplenty on the horizon.
There are two great ways to help others while staying active, both on Saturday at 9 a.m. Many will run or walk at Peaks View Park to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer in the Hope for Tomorrow 5K.
Registration for the 2013-2014 school year for St. Peter's United Methodist Church - Early Childhood Development Center starts January 9, 2013 and ends January 23, 2013. Registration forms will be available in the St. Peter's ECDC Office. We offer classes that are developmentally and socially appropriate for children ages 15 months to 5 years.
