What Do Cancer And Children Have In Common? Expectation
There will likewise be lots of food vendors to purchase lunch and bites from. Hopefully we are adding to the marijuana, and there are a lot of good organizations out there and making a difference.

While favorable weather lasts, charities are mounting runs/walks to raise needed funds. As everyone knows, money is tight and the number of folks depending on nonprofit services is increasing. Running or walking in support of charities becomes a heart healthy way to keep compassionate doors open. There are runs and walks aplenty on the horizon.

As another example, in my book, The Power Of Concentration - How To Take Control Of Your Life, I talk about a young woman named Alexandra "Alex" Scott who at 4 years old founded (yes, I said 4 years old, it is not a typo!) a charity for pediatric cancer research. For the next four years of Alex's life, she continued to run her annual "Alex's Lemonade Stand for Pediatric Research" and inspired countless others to do the same. Alex unfortunately died in 2004 at the age of 8, but her spirit lives on. At the time I wrote about her, the charity she founded raised over $5,000,000 for pediatric cancer research. Was Alex a success? Incredibly and inspiringly so! If a young lady with motivation and a "can do" attitude, can do this, there is no obstacle that you should not be able to overcome.

Today Angie will be in Washington D.C. to talk about her work in aiding refugees with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in honor of World Refugee Day Saturday.

Examiner: The idea will undoubtedly get youth involved in helping others and standing up for a cause. Did you feel this was something that was missing or needed in today's society?

The entire family will have fun and learn about local history at the 2nd Annual Pierce Street Harlem Renaissance Festival. The event will be held at 1301 Pierce Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sometimes, it takes an observer to bring everything back to the moment. When we are going through our sessions day to day, we sometimes forget the impact providing pediatric touch therapy for one, can make for others.

Terry raised near Vancouver on the west coast of Canada and was born on July 28, 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The weekend has commenced in Lynchburg and there are a lot of family-friendly activities planned.
