xoxoFredrik has a tobacco addiction in the form of smoking cheap cigarettes. He started actively seeking out cigarettes when he was thirteen, but he didn't really pick it up until he was sixteen. Things were hard for him growing up, and after watching his dad smoke to cope with stress, it just seemed appropriate for him to start. There was literally never a time when he was a teenager when he was without stress, and by then he was out of his parents' control.
xoxoThe mentality he has about smoking is one of a power-induced euphoria. Any time he thinks his lungs might be suffering from the harsh chemicals, he takes a day off and lays around healing all day until the wheezing goes away. While he is fairly certain that he is dying from it, he tells himself that he can hold it off for as long as he needs to.
