Following 29 years at PENFOLDS, in the course of which time he was Chief Wine Maker for sixteen years, John Duval struck out on his very own in 2003. Unsurprisingly for the guy who manufactured Grange for many years, previous vine Barossa Valley Shiraz is at the heart of what he does. Having said that, Duval is not trying to find to recreate the strong, muscular fashion of Grange.
