Well, I just had my periodic phone interview with Social Security, and the representative said that it looks like my original claim should have been granted for Social Security instead of SSI.
She's sending me a packet of forms I need to fill out and sign, medical releases and such, that I'll need to return right away.
She said it's likely that they owe me money, and I'll be able to get Medi-care as well as Medi-cal health insurance.
I asked, cause I thought Social Security and Medi-care were age based, but she said it's not, it can be medical as well.
I'm still feeling anxious, and probably will until this is settled.
