{Using Reward Established Dog Training Techniques to Train Your Dog
Using Reward Established Dog Training methods to Train Your Dog

In this article I shall be discussing how to make use of reward training methodologies that are based to train your pet to sit.

1. Before you start the training session, it's important you have treats ready for the dog. For your first session you may need to make at least 200 treats accessible. This exercise is based a great deal treats you use, so it's important that you bring enough to carry the job out.

2. Find a spot that's quiet and has little to no distractions that you may begin your work in.

3. Go to your large supply of treats, take a few of them out and put them on your hand. Kneel down towards your dog; now take your hand with the treats and put them. Once it gains the attention of your dog, start to move around, getting your hand is followed by your pet. Be sure it is slow enough without losing interest, so that the dog can follow. Your hand must be close enough to the dog the dog can literally touch your hand.

4. Your hands should be more than several inches from the dog's nose, as you raising your hand upward and away out of your pet.

5. When your puppy sits up so that you can reach your hands filled against the treats, say something positive to the dog to indicate that he or she has done something right and give the dog some treats as a benefit.

6. Duplicate parts one to five with this exercise.

You can start using the word to signify the activity the dog is carrying out when you are 100% sure that your dog will sit then.

It is important that once you get passed this phase, you start to use the word "sit" before you entice the dog upwards. The word "sit" should always be properly used prior to the dog's action, in order to signify to your own pet.

If you are using the word "sit" at the exact same time you use your hand to make your dog sit upright, your pet will naturally give more value to your own hand gesture than dog training in harlow he/she is activities.
