Peeps bring this s**t up, and I mostly ignore it cuz it doesn't really affect me.
When I heard about this thing at high school lunch senior year in 2007, I thought it was one of the greatest things ever concocted; mostly cuz I was an idiot. Over the course of what invariably was the worst year of my life, I did 2 things:
1. Amassed over 3000 items by either getting them from events or buying them for under 5 gold each. Actually, I questioned getting them for over 1 gold, cuz I feel like anything over 1 gold is a ripoff.
2. I have a never-member account on RuneScape with ~90 mining. I know; shoot me nao.
On Run-eScape, I'm tempted to go on one last time and "convert" my "save data" into an offline "save file". See, I attempted one of those "private server" conversions that's around, and I noticed the save data can easily be manipulated into any variable with notepad or something. Since I hate not having access to one on any gaem, I would like a recreated save file putting me at the exact experience in case anyone ever pulls off a full offline conversion so I can "continue" where I left off. It would be glorious and tedious, but I'm a s**t; lel.
On here, I have 99% of the single-flower carnations. Swell addiction lvl I gotz, ain't it? You know, pink carnation, yellow bouquet, that s**t. I got em all for around 1 gold each, cuz I'm cheap and decided to play "gotta catch 'em all".
As for Le "Economy" of Guya, this never bothered me then. You know, I gave no shits about the expensive crap before, but now I have potential to be granted Le Total Gold and mass buy everything from Le Store 'n s**t. That is, if I cared. Now I don't even care to click the daily chance to begin with. Of course, I'm still ridiculously cheap and rarely tipped anyone when it was 25 gold. No one will get a 10k tip; I don't care how much you give me. I don't even use it, but I'm still cheap.
Others might call it "fiscally conservative", but I call it what it is; being a cheap a** who hates giving peeps anything.
I'd be much more entertained if Guya or someone else created a crypto-s**t exchange rate. See, that would make s**t interesting. If you don't make a crypto-society off of buying s**t with crypto-s**t, someone else will. See, I could be on Reddit right now; where users here might get tipped in 10,000 worthless e-currency-bits for a s**t-post, I got tipped 100 Dogecoin over there, twice. Just so you know, 100 Doge is currently worth ~$0.02.
Do you understand the implications of what I'm saying? I've been tipped 2 actual ******** cents over there, twice; two ********' pennies. If Guya just did that, possibly creating one crypto-s**t to represent Gaia Gold and another to represent Gaia Cash, this site would have an actual use to it. Currently, one could have 1 Gaia Gold-s**t represent 0.00005 Dogecoins which would make 20000 Gaia-Gold-s**t equivalent to 1 Doge-Daddy. If the s**t-site wanted to make its own currency, to toss it in with the other 700+ shitcoins which I don't mind, they could just do a 1:1 conversion ratio.
See, here's where you better do that s**t now instead of jumping on the late-train. There have been Minecraft servers designed to give out Dogecoin per kill/whatever. There is also a server up for Counter-Strike 1.6 where it pays you in one of the currencies known as Hyper. I think the last setting was 0.3 Hyper per kill or something. FYI, 1 Hyper = $0.05 currently. Hyper's making its own MMO based off this s**t.
Do you know how awesome that is? You get payed to play stupid s**t. There's also a gaem of Snake designed to pay in Blackcoins. Did you ever say one of those lines like, "You'd have to pay me to play that s**t."? Well, they're offering to pay you, now...
Just think of what these implications mean to Le PC Master Race. We're so good, we actually get paid to play our gaemz. ******** you, console peasants.
