Red Leflunomide indicate the extent of failure surfaces predicted along each transect. The white dashed region shows the extent of the slumping observed by Kawamura et al. (2012), and the red ellipse shows the SMF location simulated in NHWAVE. Bathymetry used in the figure is 1’ arc ETOPO1 data. The yellow dots show the mucus locations of ODP sites 1150 and 1151.
