In the in vitro pH controlled drug release experiment, the freezing dried DOX loaded PAA-PPEGA Pelitinib powder (10 mg) was dispersed in 10 mL of deionized water. The dispersion was transferred into a dialysis bag with the cut off molecular weight of 8000 g mol−1), followed by immersing the bag into 100 mL PBS buffer of pH 2.0 and 6.8 at room temperature with magnetic stirring. The amount of released drug was measured by a UV–vis spectrophotometer at 480 nm.
For the biodegradable controlled drug release experiment, the DOX loaded PAA-PPEGA capsule powder (10 mg) was dispersed into 10 mL of deionized water with the addition of DTT (1 mg) the resulting mixture was transferred into a dialysis bag (cut off molecular weight: 8000 g mol−1), followed by immersing the bag into 100 mL PBS buffer. The amount of released drug was measured by a UV–vis spectrophotometer at 480 nm.
