DETAILED PERSONALITY.

• A complete extrovert, Lexi is rarely seen without a grin. She can usually be found in a group, doing something fun. She is the type of person that always has people to hang out with, no matter what the activity is.
  
• Once the sun goes down, the activity is usually alcohol. She also enjoys lasertag, paintball, and other very physical activities that involve running and winning.
  
• She is a firm believer that life is for having fun, and anything is not fun should not be done. The fact that she's very easy to amuse means that sometimes her idea of 'fun' is a little skewed.
  
• However, since there isn't much that can't be made fun, she's incredibly chill about everything. It's almost impossible to offend her. Scathing insults are more likely to garner her respect than make her upset.
  
• Being serious is boring, and she's pretty skilled at avoiding situations that would require it.
  
• Serious people are fun to poke at, though. Their reactions are fantastic. One of her favourite pastimes is finding new ways to piss people off. (Though there is some guilt if they actually get mad about it.)
  
• She never actually hates anyone. It never occurs to her that someone could hate her, after all, so people are divided into "People I want to hang out with more" and "People I don't really want to chill with anymore."
  
• Lexi is playful with pretty much everyone, to varying degrees and in various ways. Usually she just jokes around and pokes fun at them -- laughing along when they do the same back to her. It's expected.
  
• Flirting is lots and lots of fun, and rarely an indication of actually wanting in their pants. Since more enjoyment comes from doing things she's better at, Lexi really likes flirting.
  
• And really, really likes one night stands.
  
• Being called optimistic seems silly to her, since it's not so much positivity that makes her think everything will turn out okay, but the repeated experience that everything always does that leads to Lexi being near impossible to stress out.
  
• Secretly, she's curious. Learning new things is a guilty pleasure, since if people knew, they would think she was smart and then there would be expectations.
  
  
• Being casual is the most important thing ever. Commitment and obligations are really ******** boring and she does not tolerate them for long.
  
• However, since she grew up with money, Lexi has no idea how to deal with things that can't be fixed by throwing cash at them. In these situations, she tends to run away. Literally.
  
• While on the one hand she tends to be very passionate when she likes something, she also tends to lose interest quickly. Hobbies, friends, and even guys are there one week and gone the next without any regret.
  
• But if she actually does care about something to want to protect them, she won't admit it. In fact, even when all evidence points to the contrary, she will stand with a straight face and outright deny it.
  
• Conflict isn't fun, and therefore avoided. It's not like there's all that much worth arguing about, anyway.
  
• Though she does not share her parents opinions for the most part, Lexi does consider herself extremely awesome. She is also aware she's hot. Not that she usually goes to the effort of dolling herself up, and when she does, she expects to be looked at.
  
• Talking about her feelings and hearing other people do this is a bit too much like bonding for her liking. It doesn't happen.
  
• Any time she feels uncomfortable, she goes out of her way to act like she's totally cool with the situation. Most of the time the facade works. She's a pretty good liar.

  RELATIONSHIPS.
  
• The Deglados as a unit ... [x]
  are Lexi's honorary family -- through no decision of her own. She's in now, and she's probably never getting out. She's mortified, deep down.
  As they are her family, she loves them dearly and would do whatever it took to make them happy. Except for Loki. She definitely doesn't love him. She never entirely feels like she's inside the fold, and never interferes with the brothers bickering and torment unless it already involves her. She has no concerns about having a go at one herself if she feels like the situation calls for it, though.
  It isn't uncommon for her to bicker with Ash and Loki, or to fool around and just be a d**k with them, while Io bemoans his fate and waits for them to finish so he can clean up their mess.
  
• Loki ... [x]
  and Lexi have a lot of sex. That's it forever. It's v. shallow and meaningless.
  They both become very flustered when someone -- especially Ash -- starts accusing them of dating, or referring to Lexi as Loki's girlfriend. Not that they ever discuss it -- they both know it's casual, and bringing it up would imply that maybe they wanted something more. Which they really, really don't.
  In saying that, Loki is more than happy to sling his arm around Lexi's shoulder in public -- because even if they are just a one night stand that happens several nights a week, she's his one night stand. Lexi has no problem laying claim either, just because even if it doesn't bother her that he's such a smooth flirt, he should be paying attention to her when her a** looks that good, tyvm. (They aren't even kidding -- these are actually their motives.)
  They're playful and chill towards each other, even when playing this game. Lexi enjoys challenging him in pretty much everything -- with the exception of tequila shots, because she's not a moron -- and he doesn't usually back down. They don't touch innocently, or do the hurt-comfort dynamic, because that would imply it was more than sex. And it's not.
  
• Ash ... [x]
  and Lexi troll each other relentlessly !! His first sight of her was her half naked and yawning, and her first introduction to him was a scathing insult. She adored him from that moment onwards, despite the fact that he's basically really, really good at being an a*****e and hating the world as much as it hates him.
  His goal is to snark her out of the house and make her run away crying, and hers is to call him Ashley -- his full name -- at every opportunity. She wins. She also wins when she flirts with him for the lulz, annoys him with v. loud sex with his brother, and generally just pisses him off with her existence. She does it out of love, really. His reactions are priceless -- silly emo zombie <3
  Secretly, they grow to actually not hate each other that much. Lexi gets into fights defending Ash, though she never admits it, and he protects her in his own way. Usually when drunk she's more than happy to tell him she likes him, despite his douchebaggery and trolling, and he's more than happy to be disgusted and push her off. He likes the attention he gets from her, though -- when it's not all gross and flirty -- and she is aware of this.
  Their angst is always uncomfortable, on account of Ash dealing with it by writing emo poetry and yelling a lot and being a douche, and Lexi dealing with it by ... running away, pretty much.
  
• Io ...
  and Lexi have a tentatively mature relationship. He's The Authority Figure of the house and while this initially intimidates her when coupled with the fact that he's really really smart, the day she discovered he had bought her juice and labeled it so Ash didn't drink it, she decided he had a sense of humor and s**t was fine.
  He can usually read her, so she doesn't try to lie to him very often, and when she does, it's about something serious. He's everyone's confidant so this is no surprise. She's not afraid to angst and flail and be dismayed in his presence, since he deals with it so patiently and with such a sweet smile. She's also not shy about helping him with the housework, or having serious discussions about serious things.
  She is never sure how to react when he's in a foul mood with his brothers, and tends to just stare awkwardly. Her brain breaks a little when he blackmails her, too. He's never worried when he pisses her off, because she's going to forgive him eventually.
  Io braiding her hair starts on Dia de los Muertos, becomes a tradition, and this is when she is accepted into the family. She blames him entirely, and often shows this by buying him expensive chocolates.

• Despite her complete detest for Lean Like A Cholo, Lexi makes it her ringtone a week after meeting Loki. She never changes it.
  
• She hates juice.
  
• Her favourite ice-cream flavour is cookie dough, but she's also very fond of vanilla.
  
• Her cooking skills are non existent. She can clean house good, though.
  
• She loves whiskey. Tequila is the only alcohol to constantly give her terrible hangovers.
  
• She purchased the spider charm after Ash got excited and taught her about Aztec lore. She never admits this, however, and always has a new story about where it came from when someone asks. They are always told with complete seriousness and a ******** more believability than they have any right to be.
  
• Lexi does, to some degree, understand Spanish. She completely denies this, however, as she is far from fluent, and prefers to ignore that she knows any at all. She has no problem flaunting that she knows exactly how to tell Loki what she intends to do to him that night, however.
  
• She has an entire dresser full of underwear she only wears to the breakfast table once.
  
• She really, really hates crickets. It is not unusual to see her scream like an amazon and throw one of Io's heavy cookbooks on the demon creature.
  
• She secretly has a small diary-scrapbook, filled with mementos from activities with the Delgados. She not-so-secretly has a poem Ash wrote about her framed and hung above her fireplace.
  
• Halloween is her favourite holiday, but she'll use any excuse to dress up. This is why Ash is afraid of sequined bunny ears after she starts hanging around.
