So I've learned something about myself. I am a SICK b*****d.
Allow me to elaborate. I've been playing Pokemon, Monster Hunter, and other games with heavy status effects in them. So it turns out I enjoy causing slow, painful deaths, and I enjoy playing with my hunts. I've been chastised on MH3 repeatedly for sheathing my weapon and flinging a stack of rocks/paintballs, or just kicking the hunt, especially when I have them poisoned.
The same is true for Pokemon. I enjoy causing burn or poison, and using pointless moves to let them die from the effects, so I'm prone to using Ninetails and Beedrill. Hell, on Dead Space 2, I liked using the corpses of the necromorphs I'd already dealt with to just bludgeon the rest to death. Not even their blades, their torsos and heads. It is quite possibly one of the most amusing things I've ever seen. So I assume this just means I'm a sadist and I should accept that about myself.
Grats Tad, you've had a breakthrough in the OPPOSITE direction! All of your old shrinks would be SO proud. I think I'll just go strangle that warm fuzzy feeling now.
