Nick Hedger Edlen
That is his name. He died on April 28, 2009 from cancer. He was only 14 years of age and turning 15 on May 13th. He was a good person. An amazing friend. And a terrific brother. Sadly, he died leaving his younger brother, age 13, all by himself with no one left. His sister died from suicide September 06, 2008. Later on, after Nick had passed away, his younger brother had committed suicide and died September 07, 2009. They all died at a young age but I think Nick had the most suffer. His cancer seemed to be painful to him. He would lay in the hospital bed, crying himself to sleep every night. He is a strong person and it was very rare for him to cry. But knowing that he was going to die, he couldn't take. His brother sat awake all night, holding his hand and comforting him. Finally, the day came when Nick's hand grew cold in his brother's. They both knew that he was going to die soon but when he finally did, it was devastating. But he died knowing that he was loved and cared for. He died knowing that he lived his short life the best that he could. And he died knowing that wherever he was going, he would be happy and very much alive.
