Once there was a a young farmer who was about to go to bed when he heard his donkey's screaming,and crying so he runs down to the back where the barn is and finds the little donkey.He has fallen into a well and has broken his leg,so then the young farmer goes down the road for about a mile.To visit the older farmer who goes back to the young farmers farm to try and help.When they arrive they shine there flashlights down and they both see the donkey screaming and crying.So the older farmer says to the young farmer that they must bury him in there so when he dies it won't stink.So they get there shovels and begin throwing dirt into the well each time they throw the dirt it hits the donkey in the head an he cries louder and louder.After about thirty minutes the crying stops they want to look but decided to keep putting dirt in the well.After about forty-five minutes the old farmer decides to check on the donkey and is surprised at what he sees.Every time the dirt hits the donkey he brushes it off and climbs on top.
