November 22, 1813 He is coming, I see it. My mother doesn’t believe me but I know it to be true. When he arrives I will be making tea for mother and I. he will come right in through the upstairs window and slice mother’s throat open after she tells him why she had separated us from birth. Mother tells him that it was because of his demon half that she disowned him, that’s not true, it can’t’ be because by birth I am also half demon, even if I do not show it in my powers or physical form. He then comes into the kitchen, expecting to have to kill me as well to find that I have already packed. This is how I see it. But maybe my brother will change his mind, after all time is constantly changing as I see it happen. Mother made a joke once saying: “If you were born blind you would have still been able to see because of your gift.” This always made me laugh, I highly doubt that I would be able to see everything but then again my ability doesn’t seem to work on demons as well as humans. My brother’s future is nearly impossible to see at the present time, full demons I can only see just seconds before something happens. Humans I can see everything about them. Noon is when my brother showed. He did exactly as I predicted. Mother’s bloody body lay in ruins but there was something different about this meeting then the ones in my dreams. He had pitch black leathery demon wings. His eyes were an orange yellow that glowed even brighter than that of his red eyes. His arms were covered in black scales and his hands were shaped like claws. I was slightly frightened but this was my brother, my other half. Nothing could keep me from being with him ever since we were separated at birth. He looked down at me and in his eyes was held great amounts of sympathy. Slowly he raised his clawed hand to my throat then pulled it away. He then said: “You’re my sister, do you wish to join me? If you don’t the villagers will think you have committed this crime,” I of course said yes in a heartbeat but then quickly ran up to my room to pack. He shook his head then handed me a set of his clothes. “Change into these, then follow me.” I walked back into the bedroom and did as he told me. When I walked back out he was back to normal and breathing heavily. Slowly I approached him and put a hand on his shoulder. He jumped at my touch then looked at me like I was strange. For lunch he walked off from our camp fire and came back with a dead deer slung over his shoulders. He used his short sword to cut open the dead deer then pulled out all the organs and cleaned them. I wanted to puke but started a fire as best as possible. I didn’t like the stench of blood that was around but my brother probably did. We ate the food silently until I stiffened with the visions. I saw a man looking a lot like my brother but he was older, far older. He carried with him a long claymore sword with strange ruins running down the center. I let out a scream as I pulled out of the vision. “What’s wrong?” He asked while setting down his meat. I shook my head then pulled out a small pouch of dried tea leaves. I poured the pouch into the water container. He continued to stare at me like I was crazy until I told him what I had seen. “That was father; I left hell just to rescue you from our mother and the villager priest.” I was frightened. This meant that mother had finally admitted to the priest that she had me with a demon. Daniel laughed at my face, apparently the look was funny. I glared at him then threw one of the bones. He caught it then looked at me with a gentle grin. “Best to go to sleep, we’ll travel at night so that the villagers don’t find us as easy.” He whispered something and as I closed my eyes I saw a shimmering barrier going around our encampment.
