Rhamah comes down with her mom from Florida,
Pick me up, and we all drive back down to her house.
I stay there for a week,
And then on that Saturday, we drive half-way,
Meet my dad at a specific place,
We have lunch, Reminisce and talk,
And then daddy and I leave for home, while they do the same.
That was the plan.
And the plan worked. :D
I hadn't seen Rhamah in at least 2 years,
And she showed up at Mechacon on Sunday afternoon early on.
We met up, hugged a dozen or so times,
and proceeded to run around with everyone.
Eventually, 5pm rolled around, and everyone had to leave.
We piled into the car, and drove off.
After being on the road for about 10-11 hours in total, Rhamah's mom got tired.
So, we stopped at a Rest Stop in Alabamah. She leaned her seat back, and took a nap, while Rhamah and I proceeded to walk around the rest stop, just talking.
We talked of old things, of new things,
Of villagers and kings. :B
And eventually, we passed by this family that was looking rather distraught.
We were confused, and continued on our way, until the father-figure walked over to us.
He told us that his car had broken down, and asked us if we would be willing to give him and his family a ride to a nearby exit, where a hotel was that their friends were staying at.
We looked at each other, and shrugged, saying "We'll ask."
We walked back to the car, [[this was at least 2 hours after her mom took her nap]]
Her mom sat up and we asked her.
She got out of the car and headed to the family with us, and he retold his story.
She agreed, and we let them pile into the car--
The daddy, the mommy, and the three little girls; 7, 4, and 5 a year old.
As we got on our way, I noticed that Rhamah's mom was looking really, really scared.
He talked to his wife as we went, and we found out his name was Tim, too. xD
Anyhow, eventually we came up to the exit, and we pulled out into it. He told us to take a left, and we did, and came up to a service road that went to our right.
It wasn't very well lit, and when he said to go down it, Rhamah's mom said suddenly, "I don't wanna do that!"
Rhamah and I laughed, because we both knew why she was so scared, and we both calmed her down, saying that we could see the hotels from where we were at the red light.
She turned, and parked at the hotel, as the family piled out; the husband thanking us several times, saying that we'd "saved his family".
Then, the entire ride home, her mom told us exactly WHY we shouldn't have done that, and HOW wrong it could have gone. xD
It was definitely an experience. :B
