So, I woke up Monday morning, and thought "Oh, god. I'm 17."
The night before, I texted a few people, in hopes I would cheer up.
You see, I'm not all that excited about being 17.
Mainly because it's.. not 18.
If I'm going to be older, why don't I have all the freedoms that should come with it?
I want to be able to go places.
I want to have the options of going to a club in Lake Charles.
I want to be able to go somewhere late at night, and my "daddy dearest" can't say s**t about it.
But, no.
I'm only 17 now, and I have another year of putting up with his bull.
I don't know how I'm going to survive this year.
Oh, and guess what.
******** daddy dearest forgot my ******** birthday.
Excuse the language, dear journal, but..
It just pisses me off.
I remembered HIS birthday.
And not because I got him a present.
I woke up, and he got home at about 5 or so, like he does when he's at work all day,
and he comes into my room, and tickles me a bit, asking me how my day was.
I told him it was alright, and that I'm 17.
And he goes "really?"
And he said that he'd forgotten it because he didn't get me present--
[[Because he had gotten me a DS Lite a few months ago, and told me then that that was my present for my birthday.]]
So, what, my birthday means nothing if I don't get a present?
A whole year of NOT dying, and I don't get a single happy birthday from my DAD?
While my mom called me, and ******** cried on the phone because she couldn't be there with me?
ugh.
I'm so mad at him right now.
Oh, and he's now pissed off at me, because I hung up on him on the phone. -_-;
I swear, I'm moving out as soon as I can.
Clarence said that you can run away, but they have the right to call the cops on you 3 times, before they can't do a thing about it.
And he knows from experience.
Now, to find a place I can go.
