Good Friday...this day is so hard to go through. FOr me anyway...my church does a good friday service and every year, I feel like crying at the end. It's such a poignant service. We read from the Bible, different members of the congregation and then we have a chapel drama normally between God and one of the disciples. THis year was Mary and God. Then we bring in this old wooden cross and everyone goess up and lights a little candle. We always end with the hymn "were you there?" This year, for some reason, it affected me even more than usual. It's....a very hard thing not to cry. But then I remember that Jesus rose again. But it is very hard for me...I always want to stay after nad pray but I don't get the chance...Mainly because they have to put out the candles so they're are always people in the sanctuary after service is done.
