This is a poem I apparently wrote a very long time ago and it was never put in my journal, lost within a solitary school notebook that I uncovered recently. Its odd, and I don't remember the context, but it had a strange feeling about it so i decided to post it.

Cold in the night
is the un-light,
undoing all known,
only sins shall atone.
To the enemy unslain
all at his feet lain,
But even he
cannot see
his own downfall
I pray for us all.
That they shall come;
the un-light sum,
penetrating even his sucking rays
that we shall see these very dark days.
Come forth Redeemer! Come forth Light!
Bathe on us your pure sight,
Come forth Redeemer! We call, we call!
I hope they will come, I pray for us all.
